I didn't see the thread. Sorry if I am duplicating!

Today it is hot. Ugh! But I am going to support group after work (there is going to be a plastic surgeon presenting). After that I'll hit the gym then home to cook lunches for the remainder of the week and wrestle my futon into the basement because a friend of mine gave me a nearly new sofa and loveseat over the weekend yay!

Eats as I know them:

1. Click Frappe
2. Going to lunch with a co-worker. He wants sushi. If so I'll have a roll with some edamame and miso.
3. No snack probably. Sushi lunch is FILLING
4. On second thought might need something to tide me over since I'm going straight to group. Maybe a Chike protein iced coffee
5. I have just enough mango salsa left (took it with me to a party over the weekend and it was a hit) to make one more fish taco (lettuce instead of tortilla with homemade guac and the salsa) which I will photo for Bariatric Foodie so you all can have the love too.
6. If need be: cukes and ranch. This is my standby night food. Not too caloric, crunchy, good.

RNY Gastric Bypass 1-8-08 350/327/200 (HW/SW/CW). I spend most of my time playing with my food over at Bariatric Foodie - check me out!

Lotsa water, to help flush the two pounds of water I am holding from my eating choices over the weekend.  Whi*****luded lots of spicy peanuts and some (too much) yummy crusty French bread last night.

17 oz water before work.  Now working on my first 20 oz and I'm halfway through.

B - Fage, cherries, splenda.
s - green tea with splenda
L - Chicken breast, string cheese, peas
s - 1 1/2 scoop mint cookie protein made with water
D - No idea!  Leftovers maybe?
s - probably nothing

Power yoga tonight.  Hopefully I can get this gas/bloat off from last night's bread.  Good thing this unit is closed and my boss is on vacation!  Gas/bloting + yoga do not go well together.  :)

Super hectic Monday morning for me.  So, no thought given to food.... I have power crunch bars, SF gummy bears & coffee in my desk.  I will be "famished" when I get home & hopefully will have the willpower to be protein forward.

This am I hit the road early for a 8am plastics consult!  Swing everything that I can get approval!

I have splitting skin on my backside, which stings like a _________ when I shower or sweat.  I also get "pressure points" from being boney back there.  She advised me to get a tissue layering sugery to provide some padding back there.  Otherwise, it's similar to the backside of a lower body lift -- except that no tissue will actually be removed and I do not have enough fat for any lipo.  (a good thing?)

Seriously hoping for an insurance miracle.  Then, if I get approved, I'll worry about the other details (work, kids, driving -- no sitting on my fanny for 6 weeks....)

Happy Monday!

Hey Laura!  could you keep me posted on your PS consult?.....I have same issue going on here, cannot sit long, take bubble baths.......and I have that boney tail bone spot too since losing so much weight.  However, God did not give me my black girl "booty" either...lol   Now since RNY, I have even less, well none...

Let me know by pm or a post, if your insurance covers you and what kinds of surgery you need.......I am thinking brazillian butt lift for me or a fat graft.  I still have alot of fat in my thighs, some in tummy evven after abdomnioplasty last year we had around the same time.  I had my breast reduction May 4th and I am loving these girls not hurting anymore and the hanging skin.

You look amazing, skinny girl....please keep me informed because that is a surgery that I medically need too, I would hate to injury or crack that area by a fall or something, and I love riding bikes but can't.

I don't know where J.Lo is from - but I wouldn't mind her booty.  It's funny, I carried most of my excess in my lower body.... to have not enough (or not enough where i need it) is odd.

She mentioned doing some scar revision on my tummy while she was there.... so, I could be cut all the way around.  Even being a bit "odd" in the scar area, so few people see it that it doesn't bother me.

I'll definitely update!

Well, J.Lo and I sure don't share the same DNA........so if I have to pay for the junk in the trunk it is still mine, rightttttttttttttt?

I have to have a revision in the fall with my breast reduction due to symmetry.  My tummy scar looks good but my new navel has a "crooked smile"...lol..................but I love that when I wear my compression garments or tight jeans, I now have a flat tummy....!YES!

And my shoulders and boobies no longer hurt......but guess what....now I have a phobia that I simply cannot and will not go without my surgical bra because I fear my new girls are gonna fall.....goofy, huh?

We hosted our church picnic yesterday and have lots of smoked turkey left so.....
I made a cranberry, orange, walnut chutney ( with splenda) and a tablespoon or two will go a long way with the turkey.

I can't deal with salad too much so probably turkey for the next couple of days.

It is so impressive to see those of you are that are post-op by years still making good choices and planning.  I know that is one of my downfalls.  but today is all about leftovers and such...

B/L Fried egg...no added oil with 1 piece of american cheese
s 1/2 container of chobani yogurt
D probably something leftover...I have Amy's southwest chili, egg salad, and scramble eggs and black beans...so whatever looks good at the time.
s 1/2 New whey protein shot mixed with water

I am only 2 weeks out and still restricted to 2 oz because during my check up they determined I havent lost enough weight.  2 monts today, I am down 42 lbs...hopefully with me amping my workouts, I'll get on the losing track...  Everyone have a great day!
