What's for dinner - Friday!

You know what boggles my mind?

I have been logging my food this week (I no longer do it every day but take a sampling each month). For the amount that I eat...I honestly don't understand my bounce or maintenance at the weight where I am. Don't take that as dissatisfaction with myself. I just marvel at how much of a scientific anamoly I am. Sigh.

Anywho.

I am having fish tacos for dinner. Instead of a tortilla I am using lettuce. Topping it off with a heaping dollop of homemade guac and homemade "slap yo momma spicy" mango salsa. May do a jerk seasoning rub on the fish.

I'm actually not feeling all that great. I'm coming down with a cold. I am the only post-op who never ever loses their appetite I'm sure. Not even when sick.

Here's what else I had today:

1. Click Frapp
2. The last piece (sniff, sniff) of my Noodle-less Lasagna

I guess looking at that, while I didn't lose my appetite I ate less today. So maybe I am somewhere near normal. I dunno. I've stopped trying to figure out what normal is.

What's on your plate?

Normal, my long term WLS friend, is an abstract concept.

Regular Friday fare - grilled catfish with a few fries and bites of cole slaw.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

My diet doesn't change much but the scale does.

I'm also not feeling well, been 8 days with my glands swollen on my right side, every time I think I'm better I do a little more and then I wake up feeling worse teh next day.

So far today:

1. quiche
2. Protein shake
3. Fage with raspberries nectarine and cherries (yum)
4. protein shake while some dude tried to sell us a "no cost" solar panel system that would only cost us $70 extra per month. (do you know what "no cost" means?)
5. protein shake again

Now I'm playing scrabble with my stepson

still planned
6. salad
7. lime-aide
8. almond milk
9. pillow snack. (cheese probably)

Normal is a setting on the dryer.

I got up early and met friends for breakfast at Village Inn. Mercy. Those are some Delicious pancakes! And HUGE! and I ate a whole one. Another post op was there gawking and said "I can't believe you eat so much"
Gosh... thanks.
Left there to workout with the trainer for an hour (full minute running at 7.5... BOOYAH!! Also did 1 minute at 5.5,6, 6.5,7 )
After training I showered in the locker room and went to my 20 minute chair massage. Must.Do. This. Weekly!!
After the massage I headed out to my counseling session. We discussed the likelihood of me waking up 353lbs next week because I keep hitting the 1500-1600 calories my dietitian wants me to go to.
From counseling to the vet to pay on my tab and pick up their 5k registrations (almost the whole clinic is going lol ). Drove all the way back to work to turn those in, went to my folk's house and switched to their van so I could take my mom shopping to Sam's and Barnes and Noble. (Bought a pair of medium shorts).
Now? chilling while it rains outside. Thinking a late nap is in order.

B - 1 multigrain pancake made w/ banana, strawberry, pecan; peanut butter
L - Another pancake and peanut butter
D - bell pepper stuffed with chicken salad
S - either cottage cheese and berries
- if I want another snack quest (wont' meet protein without actually)

Yeah I get that sentiment a lot.

Luckily I'm hot enough to make post-op eating look cool. :)

Pancake with PB? I gotta try that. Like tomorrow. When I make my weekly Saturday pancakes! Alas, mine are Atkins (unless I want to face blood sugar death) but dammit they are good!

I usually do peanut butter on my WW Waffle before a workout, so I just moved it over to the pancake today since I was headed straight on to the gym.

Maybe one day I'll make it look hot lol... this morning I was hungry and the pancake was good!

 Dinner... What's that?

Dont know what I'm having. Had Chickfila grilled nuggets and a fruit cup around 2:30. Protein drink around 5:45.

No plan. No desire. No idea.

I'm feeling too lazy to type it all out so I cut and paste it from MyFitnessPal. I had my final exam for summer school fo my food was light on fruit and veggies. Also, I didn't get to the gym since I was studying. Working the weekend so no time to exercise (work 13.5 including 1 hr commute). Monday I will get back on track and plan to hit the gym 5 days next week. Woo! (Now, I'm heading to the couch.) lol. :)
