Abdominal Pain

So, I've had this horrid abdominal pain for 3 days, now.  It doesn't hurt if I'm sitting still.
It hurts to get up and sit down....to the point where I double over and have to lift my body
up slowly.  It hurts to walk.  It's a sharp pain.  There is no association with eating or
drinking, thank God.  It's only with movement.

I had/have a hernia.  Originally my WLS wasn't going to fix it because he thought it was
small.  He said to wait until I had skin removal.  However, once he was in there he realized
it was bigger than he thought.  He put 2 stitches in to fix it.  He didn't use mesh.

I'm wondering if my pain is my hernia messed up again.  I don't know if I should call my
surgeon or my regular doctor.  Who should I call?

Is it on one side or the other or middle?

It is just above (on my right) my belly button and next to an incision.  It is painful to move and
painful to the touch.  The pain radiates over towards my right side.

Call whichever is easiest to get in touch with, explain what's going on and ask if that's who you need to see or if you should see the other one.  But call somebody now.

You could also have a new hernia.  Call your surgeon!

Hope you feel better!

Could it be gall bladder? Or did you have that taken out?

Possible.  I do still have my gall bladder.

I'm calling the surgeon in the morning.  He was in surgery all day today.

That is where I had my pain from my gullbladder. Hopefully you do not have stones. They are quite painful.
