Sizzling Saturday! Whatcha eating/doing today?

 Um... confessions.  Nothing.

Well, almost nothing.

Protein bar pre-yoga.  200 cal, 20 gm.

40 oz water.

Starbucks skinny decaf latte post yoga. 120 cal, 12 gm.

1 1/2 scoop mint cookie protein drink with water.  210 cal, 35 gm.

Diet green tea with citrus.

I guess that ain't so bad.  It's a typical saturday though.

Perhaps mexican later to make up the calorie deficit... no chips though.  I GORGE on chips.

 Doing: emotional rollercoaster. The day started with taking my husband to the ER because he's having a major colitis flare, seeing clients WHILE he was in the ER, then taking him home, getting him food & rx's, doing billing for the week, then taking my mom to work because she's still grieving the loss of her father this week & I'm a g-d "rescuer". Notice what's missing in those doings - self-care. Yep, no time for even de-stressing or processing my own loss feelings. I'm letting everyone else's needs come first this week. Exercise, even for self-care, has gone out the window this week. Sigh. Really hoping next week is easier.

Eating:
B- crustless ham quiche
S- protein shake
L - hard salami & low fat cheese on cocopop, CarbSmart icecream bar
S - pickles & ham
D- roast pork and hopefully not slipping back into the carbs/cookies/chips.....

Woke up, went to the farmers market, Starbucks ****d coffee), ran errands, came home and washed the dogs....what was I thinking??

Eats have been iced coffee at Starbucks
Lunch was leftover chicken and guac from Mexican last night. Order nachos without chips and get about 3-4 meals if the hubs leaves it alone. Chicken, beans, guac, lettuce, and Pico....yum!

Snack semi-frozen Greek yogurt concoction....yum!

our farmers markets are hurting this year due to the dry hot weather.  I feel so bad for them and bad for me because I love the farmers market.

AND I just wanted to say I love how real you are when you talk about your eating.  That is how I am.  I don't understand the freak outs by some people.  Hey it happens.

With that being said...

Today we swam at MIL's pool all day.  I had eggs for breakfast, ham sandwich (lots of ham and 1/2 bun) and cheetos.  Yep.  Cheetos.  Out of a nice new bag.  Dinner is still up in the air, but I need some more protein.  Had a ton of water today too.

Went to bed at 12am last night and got up 4 times before finally getting up at 3:30 to prepare for our yardsale. Yes, a yardsale in 106 degree weather is just wonderful.

Bf: Coffee protein shake made with unsweetened Almond Milk
Lunch: Coffee protein shake made with unsweetened Almond milk
Snack: Peanut butter Power crunch bar
Dinner: I have no clue but it will be REAL food.

Drank lots of water and decaf cold unsweetened green tea through out the day. I am going to put the kids to bed early and enjoy my dinner and some peace and quiet.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their posts...they are so honest and I really appreciate that.  I have been having a really hard time this week with food and sticking to "the plan" and you made me realize that I am not alone.  Thank you very much
