Xiphoid Process a/k/a the big lump on my chest

So glad and ironic to read this post today. I took a deep breath today and discovered mine and have been feeling it all day. I too was worried it was something horrible. What a relief to see your post and all the responses :) And it is definitely better than all the fat that was there!

I have it too. It's as big as my boob.  It sits right under them in the center. It's like a third boob.

 I just noticed this lump this week and have been wondering if I should be concerned about it.  Nice to know it is normal!

Soooo Happy to read this as I have been uber worried, I did not have weight loss surgery but have lost over 150 lbs and found this lump about a month ago ( I was over 400 lbs at my heaviest currently 237) Glad to know that being larger most of my life could've caused this so thank you all for the post nice to know I'm not alone or a freak LOL

I just lost 95 pounds in 4 1/2 months through diet and exercise and when I raise my arms up naked in the mirror I can see that mine is sticking out and it didn't use to stick out back in the days when I was skinny. It doesn't stick out bad but I just thought it was weird that I could see it at all
