Frustrated and scared and grateful

 My surgery may have to be delayed. During pre-op testing that my PCP ordered it was discovered that I may have a blockage somewhere near my heart. I have to see a cardiologist on the 9th. That is the frustrating part. The scary part is that I know the history my dad has had with heart trouble. He had triple bypass at 53 years old. The gratitude comes from if there is something, they found it now and not when it is too late to do anything about it. I am scheduled for bypass on the 24th, so we will see what happens. More will be revealed. 

So fortunate that they are being thorough. I think that is one advantage to all the medical testing we go through in prep for this surgery. Previously unknown potential problems can be uncovered in the process  and dealt with. The wait  will be worth your peace of mind.

I am so sorry you are going through this worry... but very happy that if there was something to find they found it... before it was too late....

My thoughts and prayers are with you and my hope is that it is easy to fix and you get to have your surgery and be happy and healthy for many many many years to come.
