Open incision problems with tape ideas?

I tried the paper tape cuz I knew it would be better for me from past experience but for some reason it falls of in the middle of the night or half way through the day I think it's because of where the incision is. My pant**** it during the day and I'm a wild belly sleeper who tosses all night.

WHEN MY CSECTION WOUND DID THE SAME I PUT A MAXI PAD AGAINST THE OPEN INCISION AND PULLED MY UNDERWEAR,A SIZXE BIGGER UP OVER TO KEEP INPLACE (SORRY CAPS EEEP)

ohhh smart idea... of course none of those here but I could borrow one from my daughter to try it

I have three incisions that aren't healing and I was told to leave them uncovered as much as possible!

 Maybe try a tight white cotton undershirt to hold the dressing in place. Bleach it daily with dressing changes. Or wrap an ace wrap around you. No tape is best for your skin.

Because I sleep on my tummy, I had issues with one of my incisions that kept opening after a month out. No matter what I did or  tried (gauze, neosporin etc) nothing worked. Then I put lavender essential oils on the opening and within a day it was scarring over. I cannot believe i did not try this sooner. i use essential oils for everything like cleaning, for sinus issues, headaches but had a brain fart when it came to the incision. You can get essential oils at Whole Foods. Good Luck, Sharon

Boy, do I feel for you. I am allergic to most all tapes. Some bandaids, too. Nothing hurts like that layer of skin coming off!!  I've done the ace bandage trick and it works well. I love the maxi pad idea! I'm gonna remember that when I finally have my surgery!
