What's for dinner - Friday!
The countdown is in full swing
T minus 7 hours 14 minutes...
I have to drive up to Frederick, MD (about...40 or 50 miles west of Baltimore) to pick up La Petite Diva from camp. Won't be back in town until 9-ish so another long drag without food. Yeah...even though I plan to try to keep up the no snacking between meals thing, in some instances (like this one) a snack comes in handy!
I'm sort of afraid of tomorrow. I don't want to go back to super-grazing. I've had a measure of mental peace this week with eating virtually nothing that I have NEVER experienced before. That is sort of toxic cuz in my brain that translates to "if you want to have mental peace, never eat."
So I am going to try not to go bonkers. My end of challenge reward is gonna be a pedicure cuz my toes izz JACKED!
Anyhoo, here's what I ate today:
1. Three eggs with some onion
2. Garbanzos and another egg w/ some salt-free seasoning (surprisingly good! i like garbanzos straight outta the can)
Dinner will probably be more eggs as I am out of beans. My heart will thank me for ending this challenge cuz that's just too much cholesterol (and yes I know eggs are not bad for you but TOO MANY eggs can be).

Protein.
I have been eating carbs. They are easy and I don't have to think to eat them. I've been not wanting to think.
So for the last 2 days I've made a deal with myself. I can have any carb I want after I eat protein. Most of the time I forget about the carb.
This plan is not very detailed but it's all I can do right now.

Argh, I guess I ate my dinner when I got home from work at 3. I was mixing up my protein shake and I "snacked" on some cherries, and then some chicken salad. Oh about half a cup worth. Way more than a few bites. I should be set for a while. The protein shake is now in the freezer.
So for the family... maybe hamburger helper. I have some ground beef thawed out.

I dunno, but I had the Unwich for 2 of my mini meal today. Yum, yum, and more yum. Very refreshing on a hot day. Thinking of doing my own now!
I have SOOO many yummy options! But I am having Taco Casserole, sliced tomato, a small bit of peas/butterbeans, about 1/4c fresh creamed corn.
Today - I cooked taco casserole, Nik's magic meatballs, bariatric foodie mexi-cali meatloaf (dropped the first pan on the floor and lost all but 4 of the whole thing ), italian chicken. I helped my mom cook eggplant casserole, fresh cream corn and.... gosh I lost track.
B - mint cookie protein made w/ skim milk
L - meatballs on 1/2 sandwich thin with marinara, steamed broc/cauli/carrots
S - Newton crips fig and honey (1)
- mint cookie made w/ water
D - taco casserole, veggies
S - either quest or berries and cottage cheese - depends on if I decide to go to work for some overtime.
