What's for dinner? Thursday!

I probably just cheated on my challenge but I have a rationale.

I am going to a friends house today to begin to learn to sew. So I won't be home until about 8:30 or 9. And I ate lunch at 12. And I forgot to pack something for dinner.

So I had a cup of coffee. It's an appetite suppressant for me. Sorry impoverished people of the world! I'm still with you! If it makes it any better the coffee had like virtually no calories!!!

Anyway, dinner will be eggs. With some Parm cheese.

Then one more day and this is OVAH.

Eats today:

1. Three eggs with sauteed onion
2. Lentils and garbanzo beans
3. Coffee
4. More eggs

The eggs will take my fat totals off the charts but luckily by all evidence I still don't absorb very much of the fat I eat so...yeah.

What's on your plate today?

My day started off really angry. We have these neighbors 2 doors down with this huge
black lab. I'm sure he's a sweet dog, but mercy....he barks at every little thing and he does
it rather loudly. The owner lets him out at 5:45 - 6am and lets him bark and bark. Now,
on a Monday - Wednesday, it's not a huge issue because I'm up and out the door by 6:30am.
However, Thursdays and Fridays I work from home and really don't appreciate being woke
up at 6:15am when I can sleep in. My husband has already spoken to them a couple weeks
ago, but obviously it doesn't matter. They left him out there to bark and bark, so I made sure
to call the city ordinance officer while standing in my backyard at 6:15 this morning so he
could hear the dog barking profusely on his voicemail. The silver lining? I got up and out
for my walk early. I walked an extra half mile and did it in under 30 minutes. Thanks, puppy!

Dinner will probably be cheeseburger pie, again.  My stomach isn't right.  Turkey breast for lunch came back up.  It's the 1st time I've been sick since surgery.

Oh, help! I have people coming over for dinner tonight and I made a dumb mistake: the main dish is one I've never made before. It sounded good, but I'm not doing it right, I guess. Thanks to the member who posted it--it's good enough for me, but it's bland, flavorless, and kind of strange.
Summer Chicken Salad. If this is your recipe, or if it's not, what should I do to give it flavor?

Ingredients: garbanzo beans, mandarin oranges, white grapes, chicken, and yogurt. I added a bit of slivered almonds, too.

One of the women who's coming tonight is a fabulous cook.

Not my recipe BUT if you have a store close by get you some Ken's Lite Asian Sesame dressing (or any Asian Sesame dressing). Start with a quarter cup and add a tbsp at a time until you get the flavor party going.

Not my recipe either but I was thinking the same thing Nik was and was about to reply when I kept reading to see what others posted.  This should do the trick and I think it would be okay for us as well!  Happy Eating!

Nik, Justmycat, thanks! I have a different brand of Asian dressing. I'll do some 'sperimentin' right now.

Oh, I don't know!  I have nothing thawed out.  I'm about to head out from work and I'm not even sure what I have in the freezer anymore since the "left the door open" fiasco of a few weeks ago.
