It's supposed to get up to 92 here today but it's still in the lower 50's right now..I suppose I'm pretty lucky in comparison to almost everyone else in the country.
I'm trying to get back to the gym more but I'm also trying to eat better on workout days we'll see how this all works out...today will be my 3rd day back at the gym this week and my goal is to spend an hour on the elliptical.
Before workout - 1/2 banana and 1 packet of oatfit oatmeal
and my anticipated post workout menu..
B:Omelet w/1 white and 1 whole egg filled with RF cheddar
L: Tuna Salad w/1 slice orowheath light bread
D: I don't have the slightest idea yet

B: Quaker Oatmeal w/ blueberries and honey
S: Cheese Stick & a whole kiwi
L: Protein Shake
S: Chickpeas on lettuce w/ balsamic vinegarette
D: Tofu and 3 piece of SMALL cooked broccoli
D: Yasso brand frozen Greek Yogurt bar...yummmmmy
And of course, 64 fl. oz. of fluids + a whole bunch of EXTRA fluids, as I'm sweating my balls off out here in Ohio!!
Today, I will eat....

This morning I got up super early to help my mom off to the doctor, then I met the farrier when he came to trim the horses' hooves and I have been in the kitchen ever since. I made Nik's Magic Meatballs... for our lunch today and also to freeze some. I have Nik's Taco Casserole in the oven to portion and freeze. I have the recipe printed out for the bariatric foodie Mexi-cali meatloaf so I can stop by the store for a few things. Also have chicken breast cutlets marinating in a light italian dressing. AND I am putting together the ingredients for Nik's Chicken quesadillas so they will be handy when I want to cook them. I WILL EAT BETTER PROTEIN!!!
Taking a quick break to head to the work gym for the 20min massage I won at the pushup competition, go pay the vet and then back to cooking. I'll swim this afternoon / bike this evening when it isn't 107*.

B - mint cookie protein made w/ skim milk
L- 2 meatballs on a 1/2 sandwich thin, Tbs marinara sauce, steamed broc /cauli/carrots
S - Quest
D- probably Italian chicken
S- berries and cottage cheese

Then I had some grapefruit as I thought some extra carbs were called for on my first day of a new me starting a schedule of exercising.
Except the swimming pool was closed darn it. So now it's Monday. before I can start the new exercise regimen.
Came home and had some Fage with apricots and raspberries.

Some almond milk
veggie sausage and eggs with cheese
salad with cheese, artichoke hearts, snap peas, baby corn.
And ultimately either quiche or Fage for pillow snack.
