I got a pedicure the night before so my toes were cute.  They were bright pink.  No one said anything to me about nail polish

i'm pretty sure my toes were painted (since they always are and i don't remember having to take it off). i only had to take off the polish on one finger nail too (and i never repainted it so i had all painted nails but one for a week or so lol)

I had a pedicure and was glad I did because when the doctor would stop in to see me he would pat my feet!

I went for a french manicure on my hands and feet the day before surgery with no issues.

Ok cool! Thank you all for all of the responses! :)
I actually felt like stepping out of my "solid bright color"  zone and go with something patriotic for the 4th! And I just figured I would already have them done for surgery the next week! :)
I am not worried about the surgery at all! I have complete confidence in my surgeon and the exercise I have put in over the last 2 months to have good strong recovery!
I did smile at the comment of looking at your nails for cyanosis to be old school, because my mom was actually the one that said "now did he say anything about not wearing nail polish because when I worked at the hospital they didn't like the patients to have it on" (hehehee she retain work over 10 years ago) so yes.. Old school..........for the most part as I see some actually required no polish. I am sure they will be sure and tell me me the day before surgery at pre admissions... But I guess I could call the office tomorrow before I waste it on a pedicure and get a massage instead! :)
Thank y'all for the replies!
