Agua de Sandía (AHHH-gwah, Sahn-DEE-yah) aka Watermelon Water

This recipe takes about 10 minutes to prepare and another hour or so to chill. It makes a half gallon.

2 cups diced seedless watermelon, with rind removed

6 cups water

1/2 cup Splenda (or to taste)

You are just on FIRE today aren't you?

That too looks yummy. I might add a sprig or two of mint.

Ahhh!!!  The other part didn't show up!

Blend then put in pitcher.

Take the other cup of watermelon, along with 2 cups of water, blend and put in pitcher.

Top with remaining 2 cups of water and splenda.

Stir well, chill for at least an hour.

Makes 1/2 gallon.

Watermelon was the first fruit I tolerated well. I also could eat a large portion and not feel ill.
I ate so much that summer that I don't really eat it much anymore.
Your recipe looks good.
