What's for dinner - Tuesday!

Just got back from my run. I really don't enjoy it but I love the way I feel when I'm done. I'm drinking glass 11 of water as I watch the Olympic swimming trials. it is totally motivating me to start my 3 day pass at the YMCA tomorrow morning so I can swim some laps!

Dinner- 2- turkey ham, provolone and pick roll ups w/ mustard. And maybe a banana later if I get hungry.

I've been seeing mint chocolate or cookie protein shakes more and more lately. What brand do you all like? I'm ordering some more Click tomorrow and I am looking to try another new one too.

I use the Matrix Mint cookie.... O M Goodness.   Go to Nik's site www.bariatricfoodie.com and on the right is search link for netrition - just plug in mint cookie 2.0

i made a tomato sauce with an onion, peppers and canned tomatos (none coming in yet) and sausage TVP with italian seasoning and garlic.   Peeled and sliced the eggplant and layerd it with the sauce and italian shredded cheese, sauce, eggplant, sauce, cheese, eggplant, sauce, cheese and baked until bubbly.

Today was my first day of stage 2B, so I was able to eat cottage cheese for supper, yum, tasted like ambrosia!!

Tonight was kabobs on the grill. Beef with squash, onions, and peppers.

Breakfast was iced protein coffee and cantaloupe
Snack was 1/2 an Apple and 1 tbsp natural pb
Lunch was tomato salad
snack was another protein coffee, iced

8pm snack will be Greek yogurt with pistachio sf pudding and cherries

 Hi All

Last day at home on bedrest...yeah, I can't wait to go to work tomorrow.  I am not one for staying at home.  I finished all of the online trainings I could do this year while I was in bed.

Breakfast:
Kashi cinnamon crunch protein bar

Snack:
sugar free latte

Lunch:
a couple of slices of cheese...later a Matrix banana and PB 2 protein shake made with milk and freeze dried espresso

Dinner:
red beans and rice with peppers, peas, onions, roasted pork loin and linguica sausage...about 2/3 of a cup

Snack:
sugar free brownie with roasted pecans and sugar free chocolate chips

 I missed the results of your doc visit, apparently you are feeling better from the fall?

 I am better...I have a blood clot about the size of my hand on my spine but he thinks it will slowly re-absorb.  I just need to take it very easy...he said I can go to work but not allowed to walk very far or pick up anything.  I was very bored at home.
