Ugh.  Just logged into my Bodymedia activity manager and it "yelled" at me for yesterday's meals.  Not enough protein, too high a percentage of carbs.  No more toast and nsa Klondike bar days for me.

Hamburger meat defrosting at home.  Yoga tonight.  Thinking... burger meat and squash... hmmm... casserole... meatballs...

I watched your video earlier today on why your eating for 1.50 a day.. And I can say I truly admire you for taking on such a challenge... Even more so since your one of us... WLS pt I mean..... I struggle day to day with my nutrition as it is... It's by no means easy on any level... Good thoughts and prayers  coming your way for this week... Praying that Saturday arrives quickly....

Went to the grocery store with mini-me this morning then to the fruit/veggie stand....I love summer!!

Had Greek yogurt with cherries this morning
Iced coffee for a snack along with tomato salad
Added a scoop of protein to my iced coffee a little later
Dinner is roasted chicken stuffed with lemon and rosemary....it smells GOOD in here! I'll serve it with tomato salad and fresh fruit.

so my original plan was going to be chili...however, that's one of my freezer meals (the ones that I already cooked, and now are frozen and need to be thawed). SO, I am making a grilled chicken-spinach and tortellini salad for dinner tonight. I'm nervous about it, but it sounds pretty yummy to me. I made my own lemon-basil dressing type stuff, and will toss with feta after it's chilled.

I didn't feel like cooking tonight so I pulled some freezer meals out that I made before my surgery.  So it's brisket, creamy mac and cheese and mixed vegetables for dinner.  The family is putting homemade BBQ sauce on their brisket.

Came straight home and headed straight for the pantry.  Not hungry, don't need to eat.  Clearly I'm trying to form a new bad habit, and I need to work hard to avoid mindless eating until the carb driven cravings go away.

I had to wor****il a little after 5 (I was teaching today), then when I came home there's a boy in my daughter's room (one she has zero interest in, but still a male nonetheless) so I missed getting off to my power yoga class tonight.  I had just enough time to grab something to change in to and run out the door, but there was NO WAY I was leaving that situation under my roof.

*sigh* Now what to do to make up for it.  It's hella hot here.  Maybe a yoga video.

Oh, I didn't eat anything when I made a beeline to the pantry.  Diverted.  Just grabbed a class of decaf tea and turned around.

Seriously though. Today I've eaten more slowly than I ever have in my entire life. I wanted to make that food LAST. I have to figure out a way to do breakfast tomorrow. I don't know if I'm gonna make it!!!

Only if I can make a container of fage and frozen cherries last for 15 meals.  I GOTTA buy that, I can't live without it!

Well, clearly I could.
