My hypoglycemia visit to Joslin (long)

Hello, I am also seeing Dr. Patti for hypoglycemia post gastic bypass surgery. Can you please email me any and all information you may have I am 2 yrs post bypass surgery and was just diagnosed with this. My husband and I feel I have had symptoms all along and never said anything because the symptoms where minor until the recent last three months . My email address is [email protected]. My name is Monty. I am replying as I found information online indicating that Joslin and Dr. Patti may be able to help me with RH. Two years ago I had gastric bypass surgery in Burbank, CA. I lost almost 100 pounds. In November of 2012 I started blacking out with no advance warning. I have had multiple episodes where i have blacked out and knocked out all of my front teeth, broke my nose, bit thru my tongue and lips and bruised my body in multiple falls. I have no memory of the events. I have been rushed by ambulance and hospitalized several times due to blacking out. Each time my blood sugar has been below 50.     I have had full neuro and endo work ups. I have been put on Acarbose but still have episodes. I had a positive tilt table test. I have nystagmus, and crash within an hour of eating anything, not just low card.   I blacked out at the mall last week and was rushed by ambulance to the Hospital.   It is my understanding that Dr. Mary-Elizabeth Patti specializes in Reactive Hypoglycemia. I'd like to hear more about your visit if you don't mind sharing with me.
