I still can't get over how much "cooler" it is in Florida than for you guys in the NE. Craziness.

I had a great day today and feel a lot better about my commitment to WLS (was doubting my sincerity after the food fest the last couple of days).
I attended my regular 30 minute spin class where even superhero looking guys were breaking down in tears... it was tough! Then I took my 68 dollar bike to get the tire checked / fixed for 23 dollars (that doesnt' seem right, does it???). After a quick nap, I swam .25 mile, changed into my bike shorts and biked 5.2 miles, changed out of my bike shorts and walked/ ran a 12 minute mile. I am stoked!! Dinner will be appreciated tonight!

B - egg / shrimp/pepper /cheese, 1 turkey bacon, couple bites of P28 toast
S - Clif Builder's protein bar sample
L - shrimp on a 5grain foldit w/ about 3/4Tbs tartar, 3/4 Tbs relish, slice tomato; green beans and broccoli /carrots
S - mint cookie protein / skim milk (I had to, just delivered today and I haven't had any in FOREVER ... or like 2-3 weeks)
D - steamed tilapia w/ cheese and onion; broc/carrots, green beans, maybe tomato or sweet peppers
S - cottage cheese, Sf jello w/ fruit

Tomorrow I may not be around to post until in the evening... I am going to a WATER PARK and I am going to RIDE THE SLIDES!!!!! WOOOO HOOOO!! my friend is taking her waterproof camera and I am more excited than any of the kids / teens going lol

Is that $1.50 adjusted for crazy U.S. food prices?

I was thinking the same thing!  Heat?  What's that?  I've had to keep our fire place going 'cause it's been so cold and wet.  My kids are wondering if it's ever going to get warm enough for us to put up the pool.
Blessings!

Well the $1.50 is adjusted yes. People in the developed world have the equivalent of a fraction fo that a day per person. The average amount the world's poorest people live on a DAY (factoring in food water, etc.) is $2, of which SOME of that is used for food.

I ended up going to Bubba Gump Shrimp. Got Mama's Homestyle Tilapia. YUMMY! Came with two tilapia filets (I ate one and my friend ate the other), both fried (boo...although I did ok with it) shrimp tomatoes and some sort of green veggie (I think it was spinach as it was leafy) in a lemon-butter sauce with capers. Yummmmmmmm...

It's so hot here, I walked 100 yards and almost passed out. I think it was something like 115 here today. No humidity though. So, y'know, it's a dry heat. Like when you open the oven door and get the blast of hot air.... that's what it is like in ARIZONA... only it's opening the door and the entire outside is like inside an oven.
