Whoa girl....your situation is the epitome of my motto - Just When It Gets Tough, Glory is Won! : )
go you!!

To the gym for 30 min of hard weights and 15 min on elliptical...an hour of yoga this evening (I think the class is way too long but gosh I feel so good and I can tell a huge difference). and I cannot believe I did but I signed up for a half this Saturday morning!!!!!!!!! Reg closed yesterday and I got 30% discount on the reg fee so I plunged......WTF?

Also, to share, Mio has a new flavor - blueberry lemondade..I dare say it may be better than the strawberry watermelon!

- mango protein during and post workout
- protein bar just now
- salad from home with egg, turkey, cheese, bacon bits, and rasp dressing
- cottage cheese + Canned pumpkin + sf cheesecake pudding mix
- dinner is crockpot tenderloin but I'm going to put some bbq on mine for a sammich with bbq baked lays and maybe a deviled egg or two.

Be happy.

I wish I could take yesterday's food journal and delete it. Forever. I did o****il evening, then I let my cravings get the best of me, then I got pissed off and "punished" myself by eating more. I ended up over 2000 calories. About 700 of them in one sitting last night before bed.

That is all.

Today I am off work but I have been going since 7am (I don't get up until 930 when I work...vacation?). Took my little dachshund dog to the vet for his snip surgery. They gave me a huge sad story about an old dog (12yrs) that they are looking for a home for, so if her bloodwork comes back and they can't find someone else dumb enough, she'll be coming to my house.
Helped my mom, fed the animals, fresh clean water tubs for everyone, and a load of laundry in the dryer. Glad I have today off work.
This afternoon I workout with the trainer and have some errands, then will swim. Bed early? Maybe?

(adding portions for more accountablity)

S - 2 slices turkey bacon

S - 12 turkey pepperoni, 1LC cheese wedge, 6 triscuit thins

Hey don't feel bad. It happens to all of us. You know what's awesome? Even though yesterday's food journal was ugly, you still logged it. You didn't lie to yourself. So much of weight gain is about the food we hide, and being self-aware is really important.

I am an evening (and an angry-guilt) eater too, and believe me I've had some baaaad nights involving homemade fried chicken or pizza. But you log it and resolve to make tomorrow a better day. It sounds like your day so far has been really productive, so kudos!

Hope your pup's surgery was completely uneventful and that he's home and being cuddly soon.

Thanks for the encouragement!  I refuse to cheat on the food journal because it only hurts me.

I have talked to my counselor about it, but looks like we need to go over the anger eating thing again.

(Frank the dog is home and fine... was hoping he would still be tired lol )

Today it's hot so no walking outdoors for me and my girls.  I was going to do yoga, but, I think I'm going to just give myself a day off from working out.

My oldest daughter has french horn lessons this afternoon and then home in time for dinner and spending some time with my husband.

Food:

B:  Protein shake
S:  Greek yogurt w/ Fibre One and Strawberries
L:  Garlic Shrimp
S:  Apple w/ Peanut Butter
D:  ??   Probably grilled chicken on salad from Wendy's -- since I'll probably pick dinner up on my way home from daughter's lesson.

I just had to come say I have done well today so far.... I did a mile of hill jogging / running with the trainer + strength workout. The only deviations from my plan - put strawberry slices on my PB waffle, and instead of pepperoni etc I had a "Clifs builder" sample sized bar.

Still stuck in bed and waiting for the Dr.'s office to call back with the results of the x-ray from my fall on Saturday.  My husband stopped by my office (we work at the same place) and he picked up my computer so I could at least work on my annual training while I am in bed.  Not really up to doing anything more since my brain is a little foggy from pain meds.

Breakfast:
Matrix banana protein shake with PB 2 added in milk - just bought the creamsicle one on Amazon...I wonder if I will like it as much as the banana and mint cookie...my husband LOVES the mint cookie

Snack:
cinnamon sugar fiber gourmet crackers - four grams of sugar but really good

a couple of chips and guacamole when I was making a pot of pinto beans in the kitchen for later in the week

Late lunch:
1/2 cup of homemade pinto beans with freeze dried jalapenoes and smoked turkey wing

Snack:
sugar free homemade latte

Dinner:
probably scrambled eggs and toast since my husband is recovering from a little virus and his stomach isn't up for much

Have a great evening.
