Whatcha eating/doing today? Manic Monday...
My day started off rough. Dropped our dog off at doggie daycare for the 1st time. We usually leave him with family when we go away and today was a trial for this weekend when we will be leaving him for 2 nights. Man- I don't know how you mom's and dad's do it. I cried and Istill feel like I have been punched in the gut! I know he will be happy but it was hard for both me and my husband.
Anyway- meeting up with girlfriends tonight for mani's and a app's at a hotel in Boston where they are having an event. Not sure if the line will be crazy for the free manicure- but it will be fun even if they don't happen.
Breakfast- Fage 0% w/ a nectarine
Snack- hardboiled egg
Lunch- I will most likely get soemthing at whole foods. I do have a protein bar but think I should wait and have it as a snack before meeting my friends tonight.
Dinner- some of the offerings at the event or a salad when we go out. Needs to get some more protein in too.......

Awww, I know what you mean. I teared up when we had to board our dog over a weekend--I was (irrationally) afraid that he'd think I abandoned him! He is so shy and sweet, I was worried he would be intimidated. They put him in the room with the older dogs where it was a little more mellow. I think he didn't mind too much, but he was certainly happy when mom came back to get him.
I'm sure he'll do just fine!

Thanks Neen! It is so hard...I felt the same way...I was worried Neville wold thikn we were leaving and not coming back. He is a rescue dog so he is a little quirky. He did great though...my husband picked him up. Now i am just nervous about actually leacing him over night! We shall see how I do on Friday morning!!
Lots to do today and kinda annoyed that my soreness is returning - I thought my plantar's wart was gone!! I'm hoping it's just from walking around the waterpark all day Saturday on concrete. Had the best weekend eats wise in A LONG TIME which is weird b/c I cut all my hair off on Friday and when I do that it generally triggers crazy eating for some reason.
to the gym at lunch for weights/running intervals (gym has an indoor track that loops the main weights section.
Eats:
- 1 egg + 6 egg whites for breakfast
- EAS vanilla RTD post workout
- dinner is pork tenderloin in crockpot with salad and steamed veggies
- some string cheese in there somewhere and a large apple probably.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does mega-egg whites. I usually do a whole one + 4-5 whites.

S: Cup of coffee due to dragging.
L: Cobb salad: vinegrette and low fat blue cheese crumbles, 1 hardboiled egg, 2 TBSP of bacon, and 3 oz of chicken...not sure how much I will eat of all of this...but it is super packed with protien!
S: Almonds
D: Grilled turkey kielbasa with grilled onions and red peppers and mashed potatoes...which are mostly for DH.
S: Sugar free jello pudding with sugar free cool whip. :)

Hello, Monday! I swear, I need a day off from the weekend...I'm more tired today than I am during the workweek. Home with the kids today, and really need to work on planning my unstructured days so I don't graze and eat crap. Didn't work so well this morning when I ate 1/4 of my kid's mini bagel (it was like 3 bites and I don't know WHY I did it but I need to not do it again.)
Anyway, exercise wise I ran 2.5 miles this morning but was super slow because I'm really way too exhausted for life.
Eats:
Breakfast: Protein Drink
Lunch: Planning a salad w/ Thin & Trim Honey Turkey, mozzarella balls and a lite sundried tomato dressing
Dinner: I'm making garlic brown sugar chicken for the kids but I don't think I want to eat that. Maybe a ricotta bake after I work tonight.
Snacks: Light Cheese Stick, SF Jello

My little hen is cranking right along, I think she dislocated her other leg so we are going to splint it as well in hopes that the support will encourage her to use them more. My vet is so awesome, they called this morning to check on her lol.

I am in the most fowl cranky a$$ mood and have been for a while now. Made 2 appts today. One for tomorrow with my OB/GYN to get my hormone levels check out (Pre-op they were all wacky due to PCOS). The other one for my 1 year post-op appt. They are sending me my orders to get all my lab work done. SOMETHING is off. I am exhausted and cranky all of the time. I have been short with my kids and that is unusual for me (because I have 3 special need kiddo's 5 and under). I don't feel depressed. I do have a long history of it but this feels different.
I have some goals on the horizon that I want to work towards. One being, prior to surgery I was a very picky mundane eater. I am still that way. I would get on kicks of something and just eat that. So my goal is to try and eat a variety of different foods. Yesterday, I tried watermelon. It was better than before surgery (ie: I didn't gag) but not really something I want to try again.....But I will. Dh is starting to think I have a "problem".
BF: Coffee protein shake made with 8oz skim and vanilla protein with 1 Tbs of golden flax seed.
Lunch: Greek yogurt with 1Tbs of PB and 2 TBS of SF strawberry preserves and a little fiber one mixed in.
That's all I know so far for eats.
