it is more of a social get out of trouble card. Things like Burping and farting and laughing about it, being lost and failing to admit it and other such things are excused immediately by all card holders.

I watched TY&TR in the mid-eighties while recovering from a surgery. Then I got hooked on Dallas. No soaps since. (Unless you count Desperate Housewives, which I'm sure you don't.)

Why do you think they're being cut?

I record Y&R & B&B everyday. I've watched Y&R since the 70s and B&B since about 1987. My hubby watches too. He didn't really have a choice but he doesn't really want other people to know he watches.

I'm sure Ricky did away with Tim and he will "eliminate" Daisey. Phyllis will go to jail though. Haven't all the Newmans been in jail or prison at one time?'

What do you think about Victor and Sharon.......ewwwwwwwwwwww......IMO.

I stopped watching soaps when All My Kids got cancelled. My heart just couldn't take it anymore. DH resembled the night time soaps of old. I'm really enjoying the Dallas reboot and hope it sticks around. When I was a kid we'd pop corn and watch the Duke boys before Dallas.

I actually had to stop watching them years ago--I can't even remember which soap it was but some character named Marlana (?sp) had a twin sister that took her place (of course unbeknown to the other characters) and was wrecking all kinds of havoc--being an identical twin and when we were younger she and I would switch places in classes, on dates etc so it was logical to me something like this could take place. I got SO CAUGHT UP in this story line I would actually wake up at night with solutions on how to get Marlana free and restored to her former life !!!!! It REALLY scared me to think I could get so involved in make believe lives--I just said that's it and I stopped watching them completely.
