I'm about to go to...get this...a HAPPY HOUR!!!! Yeah baby!

A co-worker is leaving so we're sending him out in style. I doubt I'll consume alcohol (mostly owing to my budget...at 4 years out I know exactly how long my buzz lasts and can plan pretty well around that). I hate bars though. They tend to have chicken wings.

Anyhoo...after that I am going to the Wal-Marts to get some stuff for the Little Diva to head to camp. Then after that I am stopping at Whole Foods for a few needed items.

DInner? Well I'd love to say I'm sticking to my plan of shrimp and eggs BUT intuition tells me I will get hungry before I reach home so...? I'm thinking maybe one of those thingies of Mediterranean tuna salad from WF.

Anyway...here's what else I had today:

1. A handful of granola
2. Click Frappe
3. Lemon-pepper tilapia w/ squash, zucchini and onions
4. Protein coffee

So...all that puts me at 92g of protein for the day. So I can haz a Twinkie, right? (Kidding. I don't even like Twinkies).

Anyway...cheekyness aside...what's on YOUR plate?

Most likely leftovers.  I have a whole fridge to choose from.  Tonight my kiddo has a band camp concert so time will be tight.  Should be great fun though, and then I get to bring him home for a week before he leaves for church camp.  I miss him.  :)

This sounds good! Do you use any kind of seasoning or flavoring?

I'm having people over next week and I never know what to make. This is something within my culinary skill set that the whole dinner party can eat.

I am cautiously eyeballing Taco Casserole for dinner. I tend to get a little crazy with it so I plan to have LOTS of veggies.... steamed squash, fresh green beans, sweet peppers.

I missed my spin class with the chicken ordeal (she had BBQ meat, mac n cheese, grits, cottage cheese.... my sister cleaned out her fridge and brought me goodies for the chickens ).

Otherwise my day:
B - banana protein/ tsp PB2/ skim milk
L - rotisserie chicken, squash, green beans
S - PURE protein bar w/ about 8 blue berries to give it something other than cardboard flavor
D- taco casserole and veggies
S - turkey pepperoni / chz
- cottage cheese, sf jello w/ fruit

Can I just whine for a minute?  Thanks.

I'm overwhelmed. Seriously. Feeling like a deer in headlights.

I took on WAY too many committments, and all the deadlines are approaching in the next 48 hours. I've got a to-do list a mile long, and I cannot fathom how I'm going to get it all done. Tonight may very well be an all-nighter.

So. I guess I better get started.

Anyway, dinner tonight was a turkey Lean Cuisine and a side of green beans with almonds and cranberries. Wolfed it down. I was going to make chili, but I was So. Hungry. And I couldn't wait.  I really want to eat another boiled egg or half a Quest bar, but I know I don't have room for it. I think the busy-ness of this past week has amped my appetite to ridiculous levels and I have to pace myself or I make myself sick.
