Having a grocery store salad for dinner. One of those 230-calorie 6 oz salads you pick up in the deli? This one is basically just greens, diced chicken, and parmesan cheese. I ditched the little cup of caesar dressing and added my own fat free ranch, a handful of pumpkin seeds, a few slices of avocado, and a chopped hardboiled egg. MMm mm!

Gonna have a Quest bar for dessert in a little while.

So yesterday, I acrually logged my food. I don't do that very often, but yesterday I focused entirely on protein. I had zero processed carbs yesterday (thye carbs I did get were unsweetened dairy and veggie) and felt like I was eating NONSTOP, so I wanted to check in and see where I was. I sat right around 1,000 calories and a whopping 103g of protein! DAY-um! Nuts, I tell you. I may have to get a few more of those days in, It does me good.

I decided to do a 3 week preop diet instead of 2, mainly due to all the "last meals" I've been having lately! So today was day 2. I had:
B: protein shake
L: salad with grilled chicken
Snack: light baby bell cheese
D: protein shake

Did I eat enough protein?? I wasn't hungry today for some odd reason so I didn't really want more than that.

S - Protein Shake
L - 3 oz of steak
S - String cheese and two Milton's crackers

D: 1/2 cup leftover shephard's pie (light on the potatoes)

I've been struggling with fluids and protein for the past couple of weeks and my hair is falling out by the handful. SAD. FACE.

I just had shredded chIcken with some laughing cow cheese melted in it. No rolly up thing. That's tomorrow.

I roasted some tomatoes to go with it.

I got my run on. 4 miles. With some 7.0 intervals there at the end.

Oddly enough I did NOT die from that.
