Weight Loss patterns...

Hello Everyone!
I know we won't necessarily lose weight daily but I think I have noticed a definite pattern in my weight loss.
I will lose 8-12 lbs fast, like in a week, then stop and not lose anything for another 7-10 days no matter what I do. My calories are the same, basically same amount of exercise.
I guess this is just how my body is going to work. I am okay with it as long as the scale keeps moving.
Do anyone have any weird weight loss patterns?

I am not sure what my pattern is now that I stopped weighing myself obsessively. I only jump on once a month now and I noticed I feel SO much better about the loss doing it like that. Since I was out of town all week for work, I will do my monthly weigh in tomorrow. Hubby hid the scale and I love knowing I can't get on it even if I want to.
