CARBS
When I was losing weight I kept the carbs under 50, all from fruits, vegetables, dairy and whole grains. I completely avoided all refined carbs since they offered little if anything in terms of nutrients. Once I lost the weight I tried to keep them around 100 although now I don't really count them although I still stay away from the refined carbs.

- I eat simple (fruit) and complex (vegetables, whole grains) Carbohydrates (I do not count daily grams)
- *You should eat no more than 15 grams of Sugar per meal (I allow myself up to 30 grams Sugar per meal from Simple and Complex Carbohydrate sources and also from no fat/low fat Dairy because I do not seem to dump on Sugar)
You should definitely minimize all the sweets and junk etc from your diet - that will kill maintenance.
Also recognize that each person is different - there are suggestions here to keep carbs at a certain level, and that's what worked for them. For me, I need to be a little higher to keep hypoglycemia at bay. But I put protein first and I get my carbs from fruit and veggies. 90+ grams of protein and fruits and veggies fill me up before I get to the amount of carb recommended by my nutritionist.
