I've set up a Yahoo Group to keep track of the dates of the meet-ups and the location.

To join send an email with the subject line "subscribe" to:

There are some folks on this board who expressed interest who I've not yet seen join. If you want in on the info please join! There will be no spam but that is where the information about the monthly meet up will be distributed.

I actually changed to a Google Group because the Yahoo group wasn't working well (wasn't accepting when people emailed to subscribe, etc.)

Now I'm wondering about the general efficiency of groups in any form. Oy.

I'll send out a message to the Yahoo group with the Google group address.

It figures I finally remember to join and then get the wrong one.

The group thing can be dicey at times. It's these times when I briefly toy with the idea of joining facebook but I am just hard wired against it. I think it comes from being more of an outsider when I was school and such.
