I hate them.

I hate them.

I hate them!!!!

And there are a cabillion of the *******s in my house!

I knew this was gonna happen. I KNEW IT!!!!

It never got cold enough in MD for last year's flies to die so now we got little flies and bazooka big flies. I guess the upside to that is that the old ones are slow and easy to swat, but still...

I HATE FLIES!!!!

I have ants too. They don't bug me nearly as much as the flies. Besides. I put down that round-up perimeter stuff and that seems to stop them cold!

Off to the store to buy fly spray. It's the only real defense against THIS many flies.

For the ants mix Borax with sugar in some water and soak a cotton ball in it.  Put it near anywhere you see ants (indoors or out).  They'll eat it, take it home and it'll kill the colony.  I used to have those little black ants by the sink every freakin summer.  I did that when I first saw them this year and haven't seen them since!  It took about a week to stop seeing them completely, although they got less and less each day.

Here in Ohio it is ants.  None in my house (yet), but my mom has them and there are all over the garden and in the cracks between concrete sections on my driveway.  I guess I would rather have ants than flies, though.  ANYTHING but fleas (and I know they will be bad this year, too)!

I had a flea problem last year.  Had to spray all the carpet, furniture, etc with flea spray, then vacuum everything, all the couch cushions and stuff, and had to wash all the bedding, all the curtains in the house, everything.  Did that, and a couple days later saw more fleas so had to do the whole thing all over again.  It was exhausting.

Did everything that you mentioned, but I had a problem for 1 whole YEAR. It was the worst time. Those suckers are hard as heck to kill.

Who'da thought that you can have fruit flies when you don't have fruit in your house? Ah, the joys of living back up north. Though I'll trade flies & ants for the bizarre bugs down in FL - ****roaches so big you could put a saddle on one and ride a Barbie! At least we had a shorter stink-bug season this year, right?
