I had my surgery on may 7 prior to that i had boughta pairof swaets that say Navy on them as my daughter is in the Navy,well they did not fit. Rather than send them back i used them as insentive and i can now get them on. Yeah for me Almost 4 weeksout and 30 pounds gone.

 Yay! In no time, they'll be falling off ;).

 Congrats! Those little victories mean the most!

I'm so happy for you! I have a closet full of "incentives" that I can't wait to wear. Hoping to get my surgery date soon.

    I've got a closetful of incentives, too, mostly 3Xs and even some 2Xs from the shoulder pad era.
   I've been wanting a blue Navy sweatshirt or teeshirt because my son's in the Navy, but not only do they not make them in my current/former size, I don't want to use my obese self as an ad for that institution. My son is in his 40s and has to work hard to meet physical training standards (same requirements for 18-year-olds and 50-year-olds!). It doesn't seem fair to waddle around in Navy clothes. As soon as I look somewhat fit, I'm sending off for one. Thanks for reminding me of this goal!
