blah, I can't find my cell phone

I'm hoping I left it turned on and someone will call me and I'll hear it ring.  But I usually turn it off at night because I don't like getting calls early in the morning that wake me up.  So it's probably shut off.  And it's not in any of the usual places I would put it.

And here's something funny.  My partner works for AT&T, people call him if they have problems with their cell phones and he tried to help them fix it, whatever it is.  Well, recently some lady called and said her son lost his phone and he was so upset about it, he was suicidal.  She wanted to know if AT&T could find the phone for him somehow.  Well, they couldn't, but my partner advised her to call 911 if he son was suicidal.

I told him that was absolutely the right thing to tell her.  But this is what I'm picturing.  I bet she called 911 and said, "My son lost his cell phone and I called AT&T and they told me to call 911.  Can you find his phone?"  I bet she didn't tell them AT&T told her to call 911 because her son was suicidal.  And then the 911 operators would all be shaking their heads wondering why the idiots at AT&T would tell someone to call 911 over a lost cell phone.

I will not be calling 911 about my lost phone.  Of course, I couldn't if I wanted to, since I can't find the phone.

LOL that is too funny. Not losing your phone, the rest of the stuff. Were you in the car, did it slip between the seats? did it fall out of your pocket and beside the toilet?

I had it in the car yesterday when I went to a doctor appointment and then to the farm to get milk.  But then I came home and my partner called me on his break at work and I remember I was sitting on the couch when he called.  So the phone was in the house the last time I used it.  I normally put it on the end table beside the end of the couch I usually sit on, but it's not there.

Sometimes when I come in the house, I put it on the table by the door where I keep my keys and stuff like that.  But it's not there, either.  And my charger is on the kitchen counter, and it's not there.  But it must be in the house somewhere.  I'm gonna go check the pockets of the jeans I had on yesterday in case I left it in my pocket, but I doubt I did.

I hope you find it! I don't have a home phone anymore so if I lost my phone I'd be in trouble. (Well I do have Skype but...yeah...)

Have you looked in the coushins of your couch, that seems to be where everything gets lost at my house!

It will hurt. It will take time. It will require dedication. It will require willpower. It requires sacrifice. There will be temptation. But, I promise you, when you reach your goal, it's WORTH IT! (Author Unknown). I feel this sums up my ongoing journey to a healthier me!

Yay!  Success!  Luckily I hadn't turned it off and I heard it ring.

It was on the floor under the front edge of the couch.  I blame my cat.  She runs across this table by my couch, and knocks stuff off.  I'm so glad I had it turned on.
