I need help with choices to get my fluids in!

Ok, cannot do anymore Crystal Lite. I cannot gag down straigh****er or with ice. I do not like decafinated ice tea. I am getting my fluids down and I have diluted my Crystal Lite, but even that doesn't help. I have racked my brain and I figure ok, go to the go to people and hopefully someone will have an idea.
I am almost one month out. Thanks Everyone! Jane

Hot decaf tea, hot herbal tea, hot decaf coffee, sugar free hot chocolate. Iced herbal tea ****d peppermint tea is really good****d coffee, iced vanilla latte-type drinks, water with sliced of lemon or lime, sugar free lemonade, protein drinks (shakes or the "clear" protein drinks like Isopure, Cytomax or Syntrax Nectar lemonade, etc), diluted juice (just enough juice to flavor the water, really, you don't want too much sugar or too many calories), skim milk or soy milk (which again have calories so you don't want to use them for all your fluids but you could use them for a little), the low calorie V8, Propel, G2 (isn't that what the sugar free Gatorade stuff is called), Special K protein water, iced tea with caffeine in moderation only. Sugar free popsicles, sugar free jello, broth.

Thanks a bunch, Kelly. Now I think I might like water with lemon or lime. I have been doing the Isopure but the aftertaste is awful. Maybe it is just me right now. I have added broth, sugar free jello, but getting most of my liquids from the Crystal Lite. I know I get liquid from my protein drinks. Until you have this surgery, no matter how much you research, how much you prepare, you just have no idea till you are out of surgery and what it is going to like. Phew. This surgery is not for kitty cats that's for sure! They bleeped the other word for kitties. Jeez Louise we can talk about vaginas for goodness sake, but heaven forbid any slang!
I see you don't drink caffeine so this may not work for you but I really like an Arnold Palmer. I use Wal-Mart brand sugar free sweet tea and sugar free lemonade, mix half and half. So refreshing this time of year.

My current faves right now are:
-purple G2 (there's a little bit of sugar in it but it doesn't make me dump or sick) - cant stand the taste of Powerade Zero even though it's similar
-Diet Snapple Noni Berry (Target has it & some groc stores)
-diet cranberry juice
-diet cran-cherry juice (but it's a little sweet tasting so I don't drink it often)
-diet V8 Splash
-Fuze Slenderize drinks (no idea if they really work but they were a nice change)
Hope you find some new drinks that you like!

Since my RNY I don't like the taste of bottled water. WOW. THAT was a shocker. I've tried so many different kinds of bottled water in the past three months. Fiji was my number-one fave pre-op; now it tastes like floor wax. I've tried "Premium Artesian Water;" blecch. Acadia (Giant Food brand); yuck. And it goes on.
Believe it or not, plain tap water with a slice of lemon, which I squeeze over lots of ice & then fill my GNC shaker up with water, tastes wonderful to me.
Also, get a large glass or GNC shaker. Squeeze a half a lemon. Strain the juice into the glass. Fill about halfway up with water. Add a tablespoon (or more to taste) of Splenda. Stir. Fill with ice. I am telling you: I was outside last week when it was about 90 degrees here in the Washington DC area. I have no AC in my car. I stumbled inside, DYING for a glass of lemonade. I made this on the fly. It was so wonderful, I almost cried.
I don't use a lot of Splenda or artificial sweetener, but man! This was so good.
Good luck Jane grrl! & thanks for the tips, Kelly!

HAHHAHAHA Floor wax! Boy, isn't it amazing. I am going to try this also. Not floor wax. It takes people outside the box to see things clearly, and right now my mojo just isn't where it should be. Thank you and to everyone! Who do we call, ObesityHelpBusters!!!!!
Jane dear, believe me: My world has been ROCKED since my RNY.
But I am getting my mojo back. Oh, but YES.
The fact that I can feel bones in weird places (like the outside of my calf, go figure) is really contributing to my mojo-reinforcement.
Also, I'm having trouble keep my pants up, which believe it or not has nothing to do with my mojo or lack thereof! I've gone down 3 1/2 sizes in 3 months.
As Austen Powers would say, "YEEEEAAAAH BABY!"
