Early April I broke down and had some of my sister's  "world famous" baked mac-n-cheese. Pre-op I could've licked the pan. I had like 3 noodles and thought it was like chewing glue.

Isn't that WEIRD? Mac and cheese is one oif my all-time favorite foods, ever. Ever. I've been knowm, pre-op, to hit the Boston Market drive through and polish off a family-sized container of the stuff.

Today, it was just...mushy. And slightly flavorless. And not exciting at all.

Dinner:  3 oz chicken thigh cooked in oyster sauce, about 1/3 C broccoli & cauliflower or carrot.
If I get munchy later I have sf Jello.

Food is much the same day after day--and I like it like that.

Was out doing errands today and drove past one of my old "occasions of sin." I won't name it in case it sets someone off, but this place does have one or two things that are RNY-friendly in a pinch. I told myself sternly I was not in a pinch; I had perfectly good, planned food at home, and my hunger was 1) a result of eating yogurt with berries for breakfast (too many carbs) and 2) not an emergency (as my psychologist and Deb T say). Just for today, I decided, I won't do that.

Dinner was turkey kielbasa and sauerkraut.  It was so good, but I'm sure the sodium was through the roof!  Bloat city.

I had musical tickets tonight (Mamma Mia - it was like a night at a bad Karaoke bar, but still fun...).

Dinner was a 1 1/2 scoop protein drink in the car on the way there (about 6:45pm), followed by a late night snack (about 9:30pm) of an apple and a 3/4 oz package of peanut butter. I just now had a nsa hot cocoa and am about to head to bed.
