What's for dinner - Thursday!!!!!!!!!
The good news: I grew a pair, dumped the sucky cable company (after just 20-some miserable days) and went back to DirecTV! YAY!
The bad news: I still frickin own that house. That's all I am saying about that right now. Ugh.
Dinner. I want sausage and peppers. The children eat sausage. They do not eat peppers. I am not willing to cook two separate meals. So I don't think we're having sausage & peppers. Boo.
Here's what else I had today though:
1. 1/2 c. cottage cheese
2. Click Frapp
3. Mandarin chicken salad (salad greens, cukes, tomatoes, carrots, red onions, grilled chicken, mandarin oranges and Asian dressing)
4. I sorta cracked out on slices of German bologna and a few (four) crackers. Meh.
So what's on YOUR plate today?

Snack - caramel apple flavored peanuts (get them at Walgreens - 170 calories, 4 net carbs, 14g fat per 1/4 cup)
Lunch - frozen FF/NSA yogurt
Snack - zone bar
Dinner - 1/2 cup whole wheat pasta with the top of a pepperoni pizza over the noodles... nuke till melty and then pour pasta sauce over it.
Snack - protein shake (peanut butter/banana)

Today is my first day of soft foods *yay*...
1. 2 oz tuna fish light with 1 tbsp miracle whip light
2. 6 oz skim milk
3. 1/2 cup Cottage Cheese Bake (eggface's ricotta bake, but cc)
DH is cooking up some ground sirloin for me to try for dinner.
Wish me luck. I hope it goes ok. He's adding taco seasoning and
then I'll top 1/4 cup of the meat with lowfat cheese, taco sauce
and maybe light sour cream.

Funny you should mention the kids. I baked their chicken with ranch - but I put italian seasoning, tomatoes and onion on mine and wrapped it in foil. Didn't take long to get both pans in the oven and I got something healthier. I don't know if that would work with sausage and peppers though...
Ihad an early dr apt today so i forgot breakfast. Had a cappichino, sf hot chocolate then chinese for lunch, then the rest of the beef and broccoli for a snack. I'll have a protein shake before bed because I didn't get much protein today.

wellll.... the "plan" was for shrimp and veggies. But I am hungry. And I want something more "oomph" than shrimp. so maybe I will have scrambled egg and shrimp? Don't have any peppers... which makes me sad. No P28. Sad again. No Quest. Things just look more and more bleak.
On the bright side... I think..... I just registered for a Triathlon training group that meets here locally on the Gulf of Mexico!! (I think it was temporary insanity caused by all of my food sadness)

THen had my Celebrate Shake in the car.
Had a 1/2 Quest cashew/coconut bar
had the cheese slices in a lunchable. Couldn't stomach the "turkey". and 1 cracker.
drank 1 skinny water.

I gag when I think of eating "processed foods" I always have, even before surgery. So, today I decided to go to the store and buy everything fresh and prepare a nice meal for my DH and myself...success! No gagging and I am satisfied!

Dinner is going to be greek yogurt with flax and blueberries. I need something clean and fresh. I nuked some mac and cheese for lunch, before realizing two things:
1) I no longer like mac and cheese (wow, never saw that coming!) and
2) That is a really dumb idea. Carb crash city.
So dinner is gonna be light and clean.
I finished my cake! My Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cake! Whew! It always feels so good to complete a project and feel really pleased with it. I'd post pics, but I moved the cake down to my workshop, and the lighting sucks, and the harsh flash make it look really yucky and washed out. So I'll wait and take better pics in the daylight tomorrow.
