Nausea in the pouch and remnant stomach??

This happened once before, but was less severe.  I woke up in the middle of the night with a splitting headache and nausea.  The nausea has gotten worse this morning.  It is hard to describe the feeling other than to say that it is like I am feeling nauseous in both my pouch and my remnant stomach (but primarily in my remnant stomach... maybe simply because it is larger?)  I did not eat anything odd yesterday, so it is more likely a bug.

Anyone else experience this??

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

When I'm nauseous, I'm nauseous. Can't really ever tell where it's coming from. If it's accompanied with a headache, or even not, it might be a blood sugar drop. Or are you having sinus problems? Drainage could cause the nausea and of course sinus problems will cause headaches too. Or a bug. Not sure? Just some suggestions.

Hi Lora, have you called your doctor yet? This could be serious! I have had nausea but I've never been able to tell where it is coming from. I hope you feel better soon.

Sorry you are not feeling good !! not sure how to tell about the remnant stomach, hopefully not ulcers!!
I would try a couple of tums, not that it would get to the remnant stomach, but that sure seems to help my pouch when I am queezy.

I'm just getting over a stomach bug.  I don't think I can really tell if I have nausea in my pouch or my remnant stomach, or both.  My guess would be that if one is upset, the other is probably upset too.  Since they are still connect, if the muscles of one are cramping or roiling around or something, probably the muscles of the other are, too.  Maybe you could have a virus in one, most likely the pouch I would think, and maybe it would not spread to the other since there is no direct connection, but I don't know.

I'm not sure it would matter, really, if it was in the pouch or remnant stomach.  I would think you'd treat it the same way.

No, I didn't call the doctor.  I had one last Compazine tablet left (from a post-surgery prescription) so I took that and some Tramadol and went back to bed.  I feel better, but still not good.  Still generally queasy, but not intensely nauseous.  I wish I knew how to better describe that feeling of double nausea, because it is a very weird feeling.

I'm sure you could.  I love that you, like me, have a somewhat "naughty" sense of humor!
