NSV and Big Mistake!

Yesterday I went to the movies with my hubby.

First of all ,I was surprised when I sat down cause I swear the seats used to be smaller! I told my DH, "when did they make the chairs do big?!" as I sat there swishing my butt from left to right in the seat. He just cracked up and finally said, " they're the same size, your just smaller".

Okay, so now for my mistake. We were watching the movie and I brought some popcorn from home (no butter, air popped) cause I figured it'd be healthier. And I also had some sf chocolate covered almonds and my hubby brought some actual chocolate truffles.

I ended up eating way to much and I just wanted to try the truffles but I ate like 5 of them and spent half the movie in the bathroom all sweaty, heart racing and throwing up! (dry heaving)

I had dumped in the past, but not like this. Usually it was very mellow, just kinda not feeling well, but this was full on. The worst part was that I felt like throwing up and nothing would come up. I just dry heaved, which to me is way worse.

I will never again be so careless about what I put in my
Mouth. I didn't think. I was just enjoying the movie and my NSV and didn't stop to think about what I was doing & I guess I figured it wasnt every day I eat stuff like that, once in a great while wont kill me.

But it sure felt like it...

It sounds like what you experienced in the past wasn't dumping, if it was very mellow and you just kind of didn't feel well.

I did that yesterday. My family's annual pool party, and I had brought a NSA Banana pudding for dessert. I MADE the damn thing specifically so I could eat it, and it still made me dump, and I didn't eat that much of it. Bizarre. But yeah--same as you, it's usually just a mild blah feeling with some sweating, but I found myself pouring sweat, feeling deathly ill, hunched over the toilet with my fingers down my throat, trying desperately to vomit. No avail. My body just does NOT like to throw up.

So you're absolutely right--lesson learned. Definitely good to be more aware. I hope you're feeling better today! :)

Yeah, it's the worst feeling ever!

In the past, I got the heart palpitations and the sweat and my pouch was unhappy, but not like this. I felt like I was gonna die!

So I know now. Lesson learned!

 Another movie ruined... ;-)

Sometimes it seems like such a curse to have to be mindful all the damn time about what we put in our mouths. Can't we just once in *@#$%^&  while let go?!

Yeah, I know. The answer is No.   *grumps off, mumbling*

I was extremely dumb last night and made a steak quesadilla and on the second bite all heck broke loose. I dumped and I will tell you it was the most miserable experience of my life. My husband sat next to me in our bed watching me shake so badly he almost called 911. It took me 4 hours to get over it.

Yeah, it's exhausting. I went straight to bed once I got home. Never again. This morning I feel like I need to baby my pouch. I had some cheese and an egg and it is heavy in my pouch, when usually it goes down fine.

When I first glanced at the title of this post, I thought it said "NSV and a big milkshake."

Huh.  I'm sick, or maybe I just want a milkshake.
