Lora -- Your response was soooo helpful.  I don't think I've seen anyone on this site talk in terms of real meals (content, size) before, and your examples are so helpful. I'm just 6 months out, but am beginning to eat a bit more than 1/2-1 C of food, but it is hard to measure things like sandwiches and omelettes.  I love having you and your "longer-term" friends around to give us such "real world" guidance.  Thanks!!!!

 Much of your restriction early on is due to swelling and inflammation.  Later on, you will have less restriction.  I'm already feeling some of that.  That's when it becomes necessary to weigh and measure.
