Lora, I am so sorry for your loss. Khan was a beautiful chow. I would have never thought his fur would lighten up as he got older. I can see the love in his eyes. Doing the right thing for him was not easy at all. I know that you are missing him horribly now. So all I can do for you is send you a HUG and say I'm so sorry for your loss.
I'm so sorry Lora. Such a beautiful dog. I'm sure you were a wonderful dog mommy and Khan was a great companion for you. It's so difficult when we lose our pets. They really are part of the family. I pray that you are comforted by your memories and feel better soon. Enjoy the Haagen Dazs this is definitely the day for it!
Lora, I am so sorry for the pain you are feeling and the loss you are going to have to endure Life can be so cruel but please remember he is no longer in pain ---try to picture him when he was healthy and how Happy you both were.Thank you for loving him enough to let him go I'm one to believe not only do we eventually end up with the humans who have passed from our lives but our beloved animals as well. After raising at least 100 stray animals I'm truly looking fore ward to the day when we are all together again. You are in my thoughts. I always found when we lost one of our furry babes tears had a lot of healing power in them--I would cry until I couldn't;t cry anymore, until my body was limp and my mind had fogged over--it was at those times I could remember the funny, the loving and yes even the weird things about our times together. I hope you find peace.
