OT - Who do I know in Dallas?
Also I thought of you the other day. I don't have a whole lot of girlfriends and I was thinking maybe next year my "me time" trip might be to the Essence Music Festival and I was thinking of who I know who might be cool enough that I can hang with them and look cool too.

hmm the schedule looks like it would help with my thesis if i decide to go with women's relationships with clothing and body image after wls... i think there is a way for me to get the school to pay for me to travel for research too... i'll have to look into this

I'm about 6 hours from Dallas but was considering going. There are quite a few people in the DFW area that I know will be attending. Some still occassionally post on the Texas board, others only on FB but I bet if you make mention on those two places you'll get some response.
I can say the ladies and gents in Texas that I've met (and I've met many) are amazing and so friendly.

I am thinking of going. I met some lovely ladies actually 4, Beverley, Rhonda, Christy and Emily in New Orleans this past year at the OH Confrence and I want to see them again. So, I think I am going to go. So looking forward to it. I might even go ALL BY MYSELF and just hang with the amazing ladies I hav met in the WLS Community.
