so right you are...  agree with you... 100%
Also - may I add - eating fat - saturated fat - like bacon eggs butter - does not cause cholesterol rise.

Eating carbs with the high fat diet - will do that.

At one time I followed a really strict low carb diet - my cholesterol dropped to 100... Low carb diet combined with RNY - and my cholesterol really dropped.  I had to start eating more carbs to raise it up. There is thing like too low cholesterol.

yea it is really amazing at what I use to think had more fat until I read these 2 books I got from Barnes and Nobles by David Zinczenko with Matt Goulding books are Eat this--Not That, wow it really open my eyes-- I got the supermarket survival guide and The no-diet weight loss solution when you can check these books out-- When I went shopping I took the supermarket one with me and the things I thought was healthy wasn't. there was even some fat-free stuff I thought was good until I found out that they put others fillers in some of it.. so you are better off just getting the original one-- like bacon and turkey bacon, regular bacon is better, Anyway knowledge is power and this is a learning journey  take care

If I didn't exercise I would be lovin this BUT as a runner, that bagel has to happen --- everyday? No way but I would not bat an eye at taking those eggs and maybe the bacon (me and fat don't always mesh) and have a sammich.

At the Disney half,since I had together up at 3 am but the race not starting till 6 I had to have a "no need to be refrigerated" something. I had a bagel like this one with peanut and slice banana made into a sandwich.

If I did a bagel with nothin else im setting myself up for a crash an hour later but throw a lil fat and some protein and I'm good to go.

 I did a bagel w/ PB and banana once and I crashed hard. But then cereal and milk also makes me crash. Starchy carbs have to be paired with a LOT of protein to go through  unscathed for me.
