What's for dinner - Wednesday!

I am soooooo ready for life to feel normal.

I’m working on it, peeps. I’m working on it!

So dinner tonight. Not sure. We don’t have a microwave so up until now I’ve just been doing stuff that is enough for one night and maybe a lunch for me tomorrow. Which is getting a bit old. I am TRYING to hold out to get a good deal on an “over-the-counter" microwave because I don’t have much counter space in the new kitchen. I have been searching this afternoon and think I’ve found a good deal on one (once I figured out there is a difference between an over-the-counter microwave and a microwave range hood).

Anyhoo…isn’t it FUN being me? Still no word on the duel between my realtor and the mortgage company. LE SIGH. And here’s the rub. Until we close on the house I won’t have the money to get any of the things I still need for my house because the mortgage company gives me moving assistance funds at closing (although part of me, based on previous experience with this lender, is inherently distrustful of that whole business)

Anyhoo…it’s been a big phat carby day today so I plan to go running on the treadmill if the maintenance man finishes up his work on my washer supply line in any good amount of time.

…then again, maybe unpacking can be my strength training.

Here’s what I’ve had today:

1.      -Eggs, turkey sausage, toast

2.      -Miso soup, some edamame, sushi

3.      -Half a plum (it wasn’t very sweet so I threw the rest of it away)

What’s on YOUR plate today?

Wish I had your plate!!  I'm on my last week of full liquids and am chomping (haha) at the bit to move forward to pureed.  I'm thinking about asking my nut if I can start pureed early.  Chicken broth, popsicles and shakes are getting OLD...lol.

PS....I know I'm newer here, but I just wanted to thank you, personally, for your website.  I LOVE going there (almost daily) and plotting what my first meals will be....hehe.  You're a God-send.  =)

I rested this morning because at yesterday's workout the trainer forewarned me that today she was going to make my legs noodles. She does not lie.
After the workout and a shower I walked over to work where I had to go to a big whig meeting. I am so exhausted I don't know if I am going to make it until Midnight!

I think I'll have some scrambled eggs with beans. Nice and easy. I'm to lazy to do anything else.

i had some tomato soup with cheddar cheese. i have a migraine so i really didn't feel like doing more than opening the microwave. i should have a shake tonight because i'm definitely lacking in protein today, but i just don't know if it's going to happen. hopefully when i wake up tomorrow this damn head feels better!
