OT: Exciting news!!!

My mom's Bassett Hound gave birth to her puppies last night! I don't know a lot of the details as this all came via a phone call from my stepdad in the middle of the night, but when I asked how many he said "looks like about a dozen of 'em."

Is that even possible?

Anyway he said the babies and mama all seem to be doing fine. I know that I can look but not touch. But with so many of them...wow! Do I JUST want one (yes, I do really just want one...lol).

Just had to share this news. I think my mom is smiling up in heaven this morning.

I have never seen a bassett hound puppy. I'll bet they're cute as anything.
Oh, yes, you do need a pair of puppies. (Not sure if you need a pair of full-sized bassett hounds, but why worry about that now?)

Awwwww! Nothing brightens my day better than a litter of puppies, especially Bassett hound puppies. Thanks for sharing!
