OT - why can't guys do the grocery shopping?
So what's the trick? How do you manage to find the no sugar added ice cream sandwiches?

You are a rare find but we are not man bashing. We are just bashing the ones that we love at the moment because they are the ones that just can't seem to get it right. Now my best guy friend will get anything I ask him to except for ahmmm "girly items".... I bet you can run circles around some women. Let me tell you I have met a few rather different kinds.

Ok, so don't hate me, but my husband does the grocery shopping every week !! We make the list together and if one store does not have exactly what I asked for, he will go to different stores until he finds it ! I don't really think it is a "Y" chromosome thing, I just think that some men pay more attention to detail than others..... and let's face it, some men are selfish and think it would be too much trouble to actually look for what you wanted, so they will just make a subsitution... but it could also be a maturity thing..... so focus on all the other things he does get right...

My fiancee does all the shopping for our household too... In fact he prefers I not go... lol... he sometimes gets the wrong item... like last week he accidently picked up the Vanilla Oikos greek yogurt instead of the plain... when I pointed it out and told him I would use it anyway he wouldn't have that... He took it back and exchanged it... He is so sweet... I am lucky because I sure hate to grocery shop... but I love to shop for everything else :)

We have a running joke in our house that my va-ja-jay is a homing device for lost objects. He can never find anything! It used to annoy me, but now it is comical.

my hubby is really good about grocery shopping. MOSTLY. I will send him to the store for some no sugar added applesauce and he will come back with like FIFTY other NSA things he wants me to try because he is so worried about me. i haven't been able to find many things i can tolerate yet (my doc is having me try one food at a time). it is almost comical. and to think--all i wanted in the first place is a bit of applesauce to make my chicken go down easier LOL.....
somehow, he always gets what i ask him to, but one item turns into 50... it is just easier to go myself!

Guys can do the grocery shopping but typically we choose not to because it is just 1 more thing we can get *****ed at for not doing right.
