embarrassing questions

Those of us that have been around here a while have noticed that we talk about just about anything here.  But sometimes there are questions we get embarrassed to ask.

So here is the place to ask that question that you really want an answer to but don't know who to ask or have been embarrassed to ask.  Poop, sex, catheters, periods, body parts... um, whatever... go ahead and ask.  I bet there are other people here that wanna know too!

And I thought I'd go first.

I have an odor problem.  But only in one specific area.  When I lost weight, my breasts sort of deflated.  Think tennis balls in tube socks.  A breast lift is not really in the cards, partly because I can't afford it but also because I don't think they bother me bad enough to want to risk major surgery.  Or maybe I just say that because I couldn't afford it if I did want it.  Anyway, it gets sweaty under there.  I don't get a rash, but it gets kind of red and irritated something, worse when it's hot out.  And there is a kind of smell.  Not exacly a body odor, sweaty arm pit smell, but kind of a sour smell.  If I shower every day, I don't notice it.  But if I skip a day, I do.  And I don't like it.

Anybody got any ideas about what to do so I don't smell sour?  I don't think it's anything other people even notice, it's not that bad.  I notice it if I get undressed, mostly.  So it's not like I go around stinking.  Would baby powder or something help, maybe?

is it almost a vinegar type smell? i get that all the time under my breasts and googled it once and apparently it's normal. not sure what to do to prevent it, since it doesn't really bother me enough to do something about it...

There is this stuff called monkey butt, it's more like an anit inch thing. But it helps it you cool in places where its hard to. My ex bf used to use it when he played football or when it was hot outside. it worked for him. Maybe it will work for ya.

I get that occasionally but under the stomach flap...I put on medicated power gold bond something or other and it helps a lot.

I use the gold bond medicated powder too. Under the boobs and the pannus fold. Seems to work and doesnt cause issues with my washing machine.

The sour smell is probably a fungal infection, even if it's not enough to make a rash. Some athletes foot spray or cream will sooth the skin and eliminate the odor. I had that issue when I was big, but my skin is all hunky dory with my new weight, even though there seem to be more nooks and crannys (and crevices and chasms) than there were before, without the weight filling th skin I seem to be fine. But once in a while I have issues with my belly button.

The deorderant also works in the belly button. I do that when i go on a date. I hate it when it smells. This keeps it nice and fresh.

I have always had that problem, because my boobs are so heavy, I use sauve or dove antiperspirant/deorderant underneath the breast in the creases and in the middle and on the skin where the breast lay. It helps relieve to rash (eventually gets rid of it) and keeps control of the odor. I have been doing it most of my adult life to keep it at bay. I hope it works for you because that is the worst.
