What are you doing/eating today? Manic Monday!

Again, sorry if I am double posting!

Today begins what I am dubbing "the rest of our life." All our stuff is moved into the new house. So I just have to get the junk that's left in the old house and then I will (hopefully) be free of it!

Here's how my plan is looking today:

1. Subway egg white muffin melt (English muffin, egg white, turkey, pepperjack cheese with lettuce tomato, onions hot peppers and a little bit of SW Chipotle dressing)

2. A Gortons cajun fish filet with a 6 oz. Greek yogurt with Splenda and a cup of NSA diced peaches mixed in (and for those of you who think you can eat too much...that was easily 14 oz. of food and I actually feel like I could have had a salad on the side! But I did not).

3. I am liking this whole Cajun deal so since I defrosted some pork chops I may make Cajun grilled pork chops with some festive cauliflower rice and green beans. Mmmmmmm!

4. Not sure what else but there will be something else. I never do the three meals thing.

working all day....sucks since it is actually warming up outside and its beautiful!

B- protein shake and coffee
L- spicey chicken spread on wasa crackers and pear
S- handful of nuts and fruit

 After work I need to get a serious run in....didn;t make my goal last week and feeling bad about it!

Breakfast- 1.2 cup fat free cottage cheese w/ 1/4 cup pineapple chunks
Snack- Starbucks Soy Laate- grande
Lunch- turkey and light swiss roll ups and 15 pistachio's
Snack- maybe the white part of a hard boiled egg, if I feel I need 2nd snack today
Dinner- most likely Taco Casserole- we're obsessed

I'm back at work after battling an ear infection late last week/weekend.  I spent ALL weekend in bed going from hot/cold because of a fever.  I spent last night hacking up a lung so I probably should have stayed home today too but I had a lot of stuff I needed to catch up on and since I'd been fever free for 24 around 10am, I decided to give it a go.

Haven't really been eatting much with the ear infection so I'm taking it slow today.

B: protein smoothie
L: Spanish Chicken Skillet with 1/4 cup brown rice
S: okos greek yogurt
D: Spanish Chicken Skillet with 1/4 cup brown rice

After work I'm going to run a few errands and then it's home and back in the bed.  Aunt Flo is on her way and now my freaking back hurts.   UGGGGHHHH!

Today's pre-op menu:

B: Chobani Vanilla Yogurt w/ 1/2c blackberries
L: Shrimp Scampi Lean Cuisine, 1/2c cottage cheese, 1c strawberries
D: Grilled chicken or fish
S: Stocked my office pantry with natural almonds, Ka****grain crackers and natural pb.

I've been trying to stick to the NUT's recommendation of no snacks. Some days are better than others. Also working this week to switch from Chobani flavored yogurts to plain and add my own fruit. Vanilla was a nice transition today - half the sugar than my usual mango/cherry/blueberry. My week is off to a good start thanks to Sunday grocery shopping!

Glad you made it through Mother's Day ok! Thought about people this weekend who don't have their moms anymore and one of my schoolmates actually lost her mom on Saturday. She had been sick for awhile but I still thought it sad for it to happen on Mother's Day weekend.
My eats:
Coffee with muscle milk
B1 - Carbmaster Banana Cream yogurt
B2 - Jimmy Dean Delight English Muffin
S - Kashi chocolate/almond bar
L - Roasted chicken and *a little* whipped potatoes
Supper - Cajun Black Pepper shrimp - one of my hubby's favorites. He thinks I should open a roadside stand and just sell this and nothing else. HAHA

To embarrassed to say......what a depressing day food wise..... WHAT IN GOD's NAME IS MY PROBLEM PEOPLE!
Gym tonight. I have to pull myself out of this rut!

So far, so good with today's eats:

B - power crunch bar
L - greek yogurt w/ SF cheesecake mix & SF raspberry jam
S - banana
D- not 100% sure, possibly leftover pizza -- I have a 6pm meeting that will go long.

I had an egg yesterday morning that is STILL not agreeing with me, so I am not eating much at all today. Even water is making me feel super sick. And my tummy is making chewbacca noises. It's not pretty.

: / When do moms get a sick day? Cause I need one. Ugh.
