It will get better, I promise. You'll feel better physically after you recover. You'll feel better emotionally once the weight starts to come off and you can eat more normal things. I remember feeling like nothing was ever going to feel good or be normal again, but it does.

I have had kind of a rough eating day! got kind of crazy and now I am paying for it.
Went to help my mom get ready, we all (me, parents, sister her hubby and one of her sons, brother and his daughter /son in law, son) went to Ryan's buffet to eat. I debated using my card, because I know they accept it... but I didn't.
After we ate the whole crowd went to my mom's house and crammed into their little den so she could be put in her recliner to be comfy ... hospital bed, recliner, computer desk, 10 people. cozy.
Now work and then home for a nap. Tired today.

B - mint cookie protein/skim milk
L - about 5oz of steak, Tbs or so of green beans, Tbs or so of steamed cabbage, chocolate chip cookie (I was full... more than satisfied but not in pain or sick. Gah I hate being able to eat like that)
S - chunk or 2 of cantaloupe / honey dew melon. AND A CREAM CHEESE BROWNIE

The brownie about did me in. I've had one before, but not the same day as a chocolate chip cookie or at the same time as melon .... not dumping but my guts feel like someone is stomping on them. Ugh.... super bad choice.

D - maybe nothing. Maybe a protein shake

I am pre-op, can I still join in?

We went to my parents house for a late lunch.

We had meatloaf, squash, and fresh green beans.  YUM.

We gave my mom her mother's day gifts from me and my kiddo and then my kiddo gave me my mother's day present (that my parents help him shop for).  It was a nice time.

Yesterday we delivered the dining room chairs I re-covered to my MIL, she had no idea, and was soooo suprised. We had dinner and a nice visit.

Today I was given wonderful pictures and cards and SF Candy from my little ones and the husband...We took a family walk to the store, came home and grilled burgers.

I have pork roast in the crock pot, I will be pulling in a few hours and having my parents over for dinner and playing Farkle.

The sun is shining and it is a beautiful day!!!

I hosted a mother's day brunch for my sister and mom. I spent the early morning cooking, and when it came time to eat, nothing sat well. Perhaps it was the stress, the tiredness, the anxiety of an impending afternoon piano recital, who knows? So my eating has been out of whack today.

B coffee, half a slice of tomoto ricotta tort, piece of watermelon
L ice tea
S 2 oz chicken breast, half slice of crustless quiche
D half a boca burger a few bites of
S cinnamon roll quest bar, hot chocolate

I'm tuckered out and heading to bed...it's only 930...yikes
