Hey gang,

So I was successfully sleeved yesterday.  My incision sites sometimes poke me to remind me that they're still here, and I walk like my grandmother, but I'm doing pretty well. Pain level is pretty low & I haven't had anything for it in 8+ hours.

Water has been difficult to get down. It feels funny and gurgle-y going down (duh! =D What else did I expect?). It's just somewhat unpleasant to put anything down my throat. The Maharani (my name for the sleeve/pouch) objects to being touched in any way lol. Water kind of just .... sits there like a liquid stone in my sleeve. New sensations to get used to! Still, it's much easier to get the H2O down today than it was yesterday. No throwing up, no convulsive gagging. Just kind of sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow drinking (again, as expected =D).

I experience a hunger-like sensation,  but I think it is most likely acid. Sucking on a chewable antacid makes it sort of go away for a while. The most uncomfortable part is the gas, really. I feel like I need to burp constantly, and only experience hiccups instead, which can be a bit jarring. Still, nothing severe.

All & all, I feel pretty good. I just can't wait to get home. This B&B is nice, but when I'm  not feeling well, I just wanna go home & be in familiar cir****tances!
