What are you doing/eating today? Friday!
I don't think anyone posted the eating thread, did they?
Anyway, you all see what I'm up to today. POSTING! Actually posting here sort of jogs my creativity. I had to write a 500-word story for our organizational newsletter on how sub-surface dams are helping to raise the water table in Niger and improving agricultural livelihoods. ("Huh?" That's what I thought and it's MY job to make people understand what that means!)
So right now I am really hungry and about to go score some lunch. Breakfast...well it was the best damn poor eating choice I've made in a LONG time!
1. Sausage biscuit (mmmmmmmm...I need to get more Carbquik so I can make ALMOST guilt-free biscuits)
2. Probably either something from Subway or...I dunno
3. I bought a snack pack of pistachios at the store. Will prolly pick up an apple to go with
4. Leftover spaghetti or I might make some spicy chili!

hey yall! i have the kiddos again today :) so happy its the end of the week! not that that really means much for me but im excited to spend some good quality time with my mom, gramma and sisters this weekend!! as for today i took a couple walks with the baby and the dogs already and i have a few more planned just to keep moving, plus its absolutely gorgeous around here and that baby needs to get used to being outside... hes 8 months old and is TERRIFIED of grass lol its funny actually. then tonight maybe a baked fish *fry* with my mom and target with the oldest boy
as for eats...
COFFEE
B- siggi's yog, fage, chia, stevia & 6 raspberries
S-1/2 oz BH chipolte chicken deli meat w/ 1/2 can tomato soup *cravings UGH*
L-1oz BH lacey swiss cheese w 1/2 oz BH jerk turkey deli (if im even hungry at that point* and since its almost noon now and im pretty content i dont think ill actually be eating this)
S-1/2 quest bar in peanut butter supreme
D-either baked cod w tarter sauce or 1/2 turkey brat w mustard or 1oz grilled chicken w chipotle garlic salsa & spaghetti squash... NOM :)
S-1c skim milk w some protein powder in it maybe? idk yet tho

I ended up staying late at work so my co-worker could go to a Mother's Day thing at her daughters school. On my way home I bought new sheets and pillows for my bed to go with the new comforter I ordered. My sheets are currently from college...I think it's time to upgrade, lol I also stopped to get my hair trimmed up.

I am waiting for the sheets to dry so I can make my bed. In the meantime I cleaned the apartment since the boy is coming over tonight. We are going to do Hibachi for dinner I believe.

Feeling a bit better today..cold is ending I hope. Still hit the gym (four out of five days this week, that's a first) We have no kids till Sunday afternoon. So shopped for Sunday dinner. Tonight I'm making grilled shrimp salads with homemade wheat croutons, roasted almonds, spinich and strawberries. Looking foward to that. Tomorrow Colleen and I have a date for lunch, maybe Applebee's
pre workout- deli ham slice
L- philly chicken wrap ate maybe half the wrapping filling was very good and 1/4 cup corn chowder
S- Tbs peanut butter
D- see above
Snack late maybe 2-3 more berries they are huge
Maybe a movie with my sweetheart or the dogs if she falls asleep early...she is yard sale shopping all day today. Emmett and Dee-Oh-Gee have great taste in movies anyhow.

Pre-gym carbs: one medium banana + 1 tbs peanut butter
L: Italian sausage 3 oz, with cheese 3 oz, with tom/basil salad (3/4 cup) with balsamic vinegrette
Protein drink with milk & 1/2 cup raspberries
Snack: 1/2 cup cottage with 1/2 cup blackberries
Dinner: Going to make pesto chicken (4oz) with parmesan roasted broccoli (1/2-3/4 cup)
Protein shake with milk.
(My calories are a little high since I did two hours at the gym and my doc wants me to take in a minimum of 1000 net cals a day)

Another day of struggling to get 70+ grams of protein in. On the upside, my tummy and gullet are accepting more fluids! 64 oz is becoming doable!
