What AREN'T you eating today?
A big saucepan full of goulash. With cheese. A few veges, but mostly hamburger, macaroni, cheese, tomato sauce. I would believe me when I promised I'd eat one bowlful and save the rest, but every... single... time...
I'm so grateful those insane days are over!
Now, that said, goulash still sounds good. Down the WLS road a ways I'll try eating half a cup of it.
Lunch - 3 plates full from the Chinese buffet
Snack - something from the vending machine, sometimes 2 things if I thought I had to have a sweet and a salty, so like a candy bar and a bag of chips
Supper - Any gooey pasta thing, whopper with cheese value meal, or really any value meal from anywhere, fried chicken
Evening snack - anything that I would get on my mind as a craving, and would get back out to drive and get it if I didn't have it - Whole packages of Cameo cookies and mil**** cream cone from McDonalds (a summertime favorite for sure!)
Or bread . Lots of bread. With cheese and mayo... and ...
"Gimme" a scone... or 2. Yea ... 2 large would do nicely. Or the muffins... 2 huge ones... "the healthy" muffins... bran with raisins.. (each 300+ calories? ) I would not mind that... at all...
Yesterday was a day when the air pressure dropped, and with this my blood pressure dropped and my SAD show an ugly face... but I know tiramisu would made that day sweeter... and my bigger..
Then I had protein bar. now I do not want a thing. But I will get protein shake. With greens. (bleh....) And I will like it... (or not) ...

Breakfast..Never..but plenty of diet soda before lunch.
Lunch...at home it'd be a pepperoni pizza hot pocket..or meeting up with my husband on his lunch break it'd be orange chicken and assorted chow fun noodles..
Dinner..good ole McD..double 1/4lb cheeseburger combo..fries(large)..AND a mcchicken sandwich(its only .99 cents right..that must mean it doesn't really count as food)..I almost forgot the large sweet tea
Midnight snack..large bowl of cereal.
I almost threw up just now thinking about the amount of food I once consumed.
Maybe 8 slices of toast with butter and peanut butter. or half dozen eggs and 4 slices of toast.
Or a whole large double cheese pizza in an afternoon oh with wings and sometimes garlic bread (with cheese of course)
Or there is the one pound bacon cheese burgers up the road with fries, also the one pound hot dog that comes on a 1/2 loaf of italian bread
yuck to all, not the food but the gross portions
edit..who could forget the 20 pc Mcnugget and large fry habit.
Snack..........4 or 5 pieces of toast with a load of butter on them and hot cocoa with marshmallows which I would keep on replenishing as they melt and I eat them
Lunch..........2 sandwiches, chips, something sweet, washing it down with a diet pepsi
Snacking ALL afternoon on sweet stuff, chips, anything I could get my hands on
Dinner.....a healthy dinner but eating enough for 4 grown adults
Snacking ALL evening on nothing but crap

Oh my.... if we're being honest here, I'm pretty ashamed to admit some of my pre-op ways of eating but, hey, I didn't get MO eating nothing but carrot sticks and celery.
I'm not eating the rest of the the kiddos' ice cream that's in the freezer. Pre-op I'd be working at home some days and wander into the kitchen see it, mow through what was left (sometimes up to half of the half-gallon carton) and then I'd be ashamed that I did it, be ashamed that my husband and kids would know that I ate ALL of the rest of it, so I'd drive my butt down to the grocery store, pick up a replacement carton and then eat out of that one so that I could pass the newly replaced carton off as the old. I'd stuff the old carton deep in the depths of the garbage bin. I don't know think I was fooling anybody but myself.
