Well sure, I didn't mean we're all squeaky clean now, I just meant that it's such an amazing difference to go from sucking in an entire pizza followed by a pint of ice cream, all washed down with a liter of soda to what we're doing now. It's astounding. Such a drastic mental switch.
I had Taco Bell for dinner a few nights ago. I got a beef fresco taco and pintos. And it was delicious. But normally, I would have bought 5 or 6 tacos or two giant stuffed burritos and eaten them all. With an apple empanada or two. And a large Dr. Pepper.
I can take my kids out for ice cream and steal a lck or two from one of their cones and be happy. Before, I'd have to get my own huge, gooey sundae.
Being able to say "Oh, I couldn't possibly eat all that" and genuinely mean it makes me feel so NORMAL, like a healthy, slender person. (the kind you see on TV! Hehe) And that feels wonderful.
