well it was going to be a filet mignon steak salad with whole wheat couscous....DIDN'T HAPPEN. Tired and worn out and cranky. So I had a boca burger, coleslaw and some soy crisps. But now I'm done with dinner and it's on to other projects.

Hope your first night in your new home is a wonderment!

I'm out of my fave snack bars.... so is costco and Amazon. *grrr*

So today I had fresh blackberries and full fat greek yoghurt (outta quiche too)...then today at lunch  was having a nut bar when suddenly it seemed as though something tooth-like was swimming in the mix.... yup. Last time I saw the dinner he saw that one of my crowns needed to be replaced  (he'd already replaced that same crown twice) and so next week I had the replacement scheduled..... but today it couldn't wait. So quick trip to the dentist for an emergency fix (because my dentist himself is out of town until next week). So now I'm on soft foods until the end of May. Gotta love that.

Noow i'm having some refried beans with cheese and olives. Later tonight I might have some cheese, artichoke hearts and other softer stuff.

I threw together a chicken taco salad.  I had a precooked garlic herb chicken breast.  I cut it into chunks, seasoned with garlic powder, chili powder & cumin and threw it on the stove until it was warm.  Then threw some romaine on a plate, topped it with the chicken, and added a Mexican cheese blend, salsa and plain greek yogurt.  It was yummo!

 Poor little Diva..she's got a lot on her plate with moving and grief. I hope things are better for her soon.
I've been eating small bits and otherwise trying to clean my son's room. Why did I start such an impossible task. 10/nearly 11 year old boys are vile creatures. I found all of his uneaten halloween candy in the bottom of a drawer.
The good news..I haven't yelled out him yet and it's about 40% done!

This has turned into the day from Hades. really. Didn't start too bad - up to feed animals, then fixed lunch for me and my parents, helped them unload groceries, got my gear together and went to the gym for a workout with my trainer. She kicked my behonkas, I showered and went to work. A couple of hours in I flexed some time and went to support group - we had a plastic surgeon who does a lot of my surgeon's patients. He actually did a friend of mine's tummy tuck and she is thrilled and liked him.
Anyway... downhill from there: my niece (aka my heart) called from Texas to tell me her grandfather (her mom's dad) passed away, I was late getting back to work and was only back about 45minutes before I had to leave for lunch (to help my mom). I ate waaaaay too much. Now my stomach hurts and I am over on my calories. I got back to work and there is a huge stressful situation that has my heart hurting and my stomach churning (not a good mix with eating too much)
Sheesh
breakfast - mint cookie and skim milk;
Lunch - about 4oz steak and some peas /butterbeans
S - cottage cheese w/ SF jello and fruit
D - about 5oz of steak, 3 (very small) sweet peppers w/ 2 laughing cow cheese;

I don't know whether to count my quest in with my dinner or as a snack. It was probably 30 minutes after I ate my meal. Definitely tooooo soon.

Gah.. Bottomless pouch day
