Today, today, today.

I was SUPPOSED to be moving today. Then most of my help flaked on me and I missed the gas and electric guy at the house and he can't come bac****il next week. Sigh. I am sort of glad although now I am feeling like I'm in a holding pattern which drives me just a wee bit batty.

I've decided I need to work more on my in-person relationships. Nobody ever calls me. I don't ever call anybody. Nobody visits. Or invites me to stuff. I have to believe that is at least in part my fault. So I am going to attempt to reach out. I know it takes two but if one of those two isn't me then I need to work on it, right?

Anyway, some musings...as my cat attempts to stuff herself in a drawer of my china cabinet! BRB.

Ok...my cat is so special!

Eats, as I know them:

1. An egg-chilada in a moment
2. I have a Muscle Milk
3. I want to make a pot of chili for the next few days so I don't have to worry about cooking until after we're in the new house!
4. Um...???

So there ya go!

I get that way, too, in a rut and don't reach out. I think people think us single moms are so busy and independent that they forget to reach out to us. I need to reach out more, too.

Today I'm about to go mow, do laundry, help my bff pick out paint colors for his new house, and then take the kids to the pool. It'll be a fun relaxing day.

Next weekend is our senior PROM so I have to get household stuff done this weekend . I'm co-senior class sponsor and we planned the prom, so it will be fun.  I've known this class since 8th grade (followed them up from middle school). My long-distance boyfriend will come down on Thursday. I did not go to my senior prom so he wanted to take me. So sweet!!

Today I will try harder to get in 1700 calories. For some reason my pouch is being grumpy this week so I've only been able to get in 1500. i think it's the stress from the end of the school year. 17 days left!!!!!

 I stay busy outside the house, but not with social activities... I need to work on that too.

Today -- cleaning & laundry 

Tomorrow - kid run for my youngest 2;  4 mile run/walk for me; and both kids have separate b-day parties to attend.  

Food:  the only thing I planned was a pumpernickel bagel.  I'm bad.  It'll take me half the am to eat it.  But, it's so good.

Everything happens for a reason right?  Maybe you're not moving today so you that you CAN reconnect with some old pals!  Good luck!

Todays eats for me:
B:  Greek Yogurt 
L:  Have eye doc appt right at noon, so probably a shake or protein bar (always one close)
D:  If home in time, gonna try a Nik recipe -- Taco Casserole!  If not then make that tomorrow and have leftover tuna salad tonight.

Well, since I'm still laying low and taking it easy after the procedure Monday, I'm going to try to keep the food under control.  Without that exercise, it's too easy to over-do it...

Had a SF/FF latte from Dunkin Donuts already, and ready to make a protein latte now.  Expect I'll be eating some boiled eggs, and then probably steamed cod with white wine and dill for lunch/afternoon.  No idea for dinner... I just know some kind of meat is calling to me.

Anyway, good luck Nik... take the time to relax a bit as I'm sure you've been running ragged the last couple weeks.  And definitely reach out... call a friend and have a good long chat!

I slept in!! I desperately needed it, too. I was up til 2am finishing that oh-so-cute dinosaur cake. Turned out awesome, I'm so pleased.

So I missed breakfast. But I'll have some 2% Fage for lunch, a protein bar for a snack, and then off to the park to run amok with a gaggle of 5 year olds in 90 degree heat for a birthday party. There will be beef hotdogs, so I'll probably grab one of those, and then come home and have a salad. I want some greeeeens!

I had almost 8 hours sleep last night! I feel like a new person!
My dogs woke me up an hour before my alarm, so I went ahead and got up. I helped my mom into her wheelchair and then spent the morning outside with the horses. I got my young horse back from the trainer end of March, rode him 2x before April and haven't messed with him since. SO I worked him a bit and then rode for a while. He did fine. He's so clever. THen I gave him a bath and back in to help my mom. My dad went to my youngest nephew's baseball games, so I will hang out here with my mom most of the day. Going to take the dogs walking at least a mile - a 5k if they'll make it. Then swimming if I can stand the water. Tonight is dog training and then a 6hr overtime shift at work.


I went so totally off plan for lunch I came back to edit lol

B - mint cookie protein / skim milk
L - shrimp, peppers, cheese , strawberries NOPE - had ham and cheese on toasted P28 with fresh tomato and strawberries

S - quest if it gets delivered (not happening today, according to UPS site )
D - probably Taco Bell (crunchy taco adn pintos /cheese)
S - hopefully won't need it, but almonds I guess

Been a busy day already! Hit 2 classes att he gym- Body Pumpa and Zumba. 

Breakfast- 1 egg over easy w/ 1/4 cup white beans and 1/4 left over steamed veggies and 1 slice 2% american cheese

Snack-8-  Chocolate covered pretzles-

Lunch- Left over Chicken Tikka MAsala.  1/2 cup chciekn w/ a small piece paratha.

Dinner- Probably a protein shake

Not sure if I'll hit up a Kentucky Derby/Cindo de Mayo party or lay low wwith my dog and hope that my husband gets out of work early to we can spend a little time together!

 i am supposed to be writing all day. need at least 20 pages by tomorrow night. right now i have a sentence lol. really it needs to be done by monday night, but i totally want to go scope out the met on monday and see if i see anything exciting happening since that's when the met gala is! haha. and then i have class monday night. 

b - had cereal (boring)
l - shake, probably a coffee one since i'm still lagging
d - chicken, not sure how i'm gonna make it yet
s - ham lunchmeat and cheese that i bought the other day and still haven't opened and better eat before it turns! maybe some crackers or grapes with it depending how i'm feeling
s - milk before bed, maybe pb depending how the cals are
