poll - taking care of our health
Feel free to skip any questions you feel are too personal. If you're not doing something as often as you think you should, why not?
How long has it been since you:
1. Had labs done?
2. Saw the dentist?
3. Had an eye exam?
4. Checked your blood pressure (or had it checked)?
5. Had a prostate exam (men over 50)?
6. Had a pap test (women)?
7. Done a breast self exam (women)?
8. Had a mammogram (women over 40)?
9. Had a bone density scan (all RNY patients should get them)?
10. Were tested for HIV (which is probably not necessary for people in monogamous relationships if you know your partner is HIV negative and as long as you are not at risk in any other way, but I'm guessing most of us have at some point been less than perfectly safe so it probably makes sense to get tested at least once in our lives)?

2. Saw the dentist? - Don't go there

6. Had a pap test (women)? -Now that has been FAR too long. Once the move is over with I have a slew of appointments to make.
