I live near just junquies, and same thing. I wi**** was 90. Instead it's in the 60's and sprinkling outside. Boo! And I'm wearing a dress thinking its sunny but it's not. I'd be sitting in front of a fan or in the pool.

Same up here. I hate the cold, but I have heat limits. I stuffed my AC unit in the window after work instead of melting at the gym...which has a stupid AC.

If I were closer I would come and stuff yours in a window, Detroit style. Mine's all sealed up with duct tape.

I have no air conditioning at the moment because we use window units and of course I cannot put them in by myself and my partner has not gotten around to doing it yet.

He calls me on the phone on his break from work.  I tell him how hot it is.  Then I tell him my back hurts.  He says, "Well, did you try putting the heating pad on it?"

Right.  It's 90 degrees, and he thinks I should be sitting on a heating pad?

Sometimes I would swear that men only use half their brains!

I was out mowing the grass (and then spreading fertilizer) after work and was getting REALLY hot, sweaty, and thirsty, and I couldn't figure out why I was reacting so much.  I thought  maybe it was the whole menopausal hormone thing.  Then I came in and flipped on the tv just in time to hear them say that today's high temperature was 87 degrees!  I had no idea it was so hot out.  This is only the beginning of May for Heaven's sake!  I fear a long, hot summer...

Guess its time to go around and reverse all the vents in the house to try to force some extra air conditioning to the upstairs...

How freaking long does it take to put in a window AC unit, especially if it's been in that same window before??  About 5 minutes?  You might need to join the "bedroom union" and go on strike, if you know what I mean. DAVE
